Dumpling were very tasty, highly recommended. As was steak frites and Sea Bass red curry (although it needed more sauce) were on point.
Some parts of the menu have lost the run of themselves. $18 for Brussel sprouts (It used to be $16) just seems crazy. Also saw the noodle bowls come out with chopsticks stuck straight into them, which can be seen as a sign of disrespect in some cultures.
4 drinks, 1 app, 2 mains, 1 desert was $200 including tip.

Went to this beautiful restaurant today with my wife and two boys. The food was out of this world , chef Garcia came and greeted our table nice touch , we started with a chefs special appetizer that was cooked to perfection, the boys had the cafe burger that they ate every bite , my wife had the Caesar salad with salmon again done perfect, I had the half chicken wow it was transformed to a great dish , the mashed potato cake was crispy and fluffy all in one . Great dish , our waitress was so professional and knowledgeable she did a great job taking care of us, if you haven't tried this place make sure you do you will not be disappointed I promise you Will definitely go back It's hard to find a gem like this Kudos to the chef and the staff at square cafe

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Square Cafe with my family on a beautiful Tuesday afternoon. We chose to sit on the patio, which turned out to be an excellent decision. The weather was perfect, and the patio was adorned with gorgeous flowers that added to the charm of our meal.
From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the manager, Gus, who was absolutely adorable and made us feel right at home. His friendliness set the tone for what turned out to be a memorable dining experience.
We started our meal with Brussels sprouts and calamari, both of which were excellent appetizers that whetted our appetites. For our main courses, two of us decided to try the new peach salad on the menu. It was a refreshing and innovative dish that perfectly captured the flavors of the season. Additionally, we ordered the cod and salmon, both of which were cooked to perfection and incredibly flavorful.
The food was nothing short of delicious, but what truly stood out was the impeccable service we received from our server, Kaio. His attentiveness and friendly demeanor made our lunch even more enjoyable. Kaio’s service was top-notch, earning a well-deserved 10/10.
In summary, our lunch at Square Cafe was a delightful experience. The beautiful patio, delicious food, and outstanding service made for a perfect family outing. I highly recommend visiting Square Cafe, and I look forward to returning soon.

Unfortunately, not a place we will be frequenting. We've lived in town for a decade and have been apprehensive about visiting because there are some other great choices in town. Anyway, we finally went to have lunch there yesterday and the experience was very lacking. The hostess didn't even smile when she was seating us. (1) One of the sandwiches came out without the meat (which was an honest mistake and it was quickly fixed), (2) the other dish had a small piece of plastic in the food and was incorrectly priced on the menu (we were charged more), (3) the pasta from the kids menu that was meant to have butter AND cheese only had butter and costs $13 - what a rip-off. Not a place for a family with young kids if you plan on ordering from the kids menu - a suggestion would be to have a fruit cup or a side dish of veggies on the menu for younger kids. The waiter was extremely friendly and the drinks were good, but the food was lackluster.
Kid-friendliness: The kids menu does not have young kids in mind. The options are limited, overpriced, and not exciting for little picky eaters.

My daughter took us there the day before Father's Day and she knows food and said we would love it. WOW. It was the best food, service and atmosphere I have ever had on the South Shore. I was shocked. While the dinner was superb I was forced into getting the Bread pudding by my daughter. It was 3" tall without the ice cream and whipped cream on top. Of course, we devoured it. GO. you will also be pleasantly shocked. 5 stars. Thank you for showing up in these uncertain times your staff rocked.

One of the rare 5 star restaurant experiences Ive had. Its not exactly cheap but it was worth it. My only small complaint was I wanted to order my main course and the waitress was taking forever to ask for it and I pressed the issue and told her I wanted to and she gave me a little attitude back.Shrimp scampi was the best one Ive had in yearsBrussels sprout app was monstrous and delicious.Really positive experience overall
went there for an early Easter dinner. did not have a reservation but they accommodated us very nicely. i had the cafe bolognese and the only complaint i have was no room for dessert. the food was superb! and the staff was excellent!highly recommend trying out if your in the area.
