Very unimpressed with this place. Went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon with my wife for our Anniversary. Place was not overly busy at all. Easily 8-10 open tables inside. We were greeted and seated, no problem. Water came shortly after. It was another 5 minutes before the bartender acknowledged us and was apparently our waiter as well. We were not seated in the bar area. He was busy making drinks and said he would be right with us. All the time there were 2 hosts, one of which...
We’ve been noticing this restaurant since moving to Hingham, and today we finally had the opportunity to dine here with our 2.5-year-old toddler. The service was excellent and the staff were wonderfully attentive to our child. The food was outstanding, with freshly baked bread served warm and steamy. Square Cafe has certainly earned a place on our list of regular dining destinations. Thank you for a delightful experience.
