I am very disappointed! We had a graduation party here . They were unprofessional and un prepared! The glasses were plastic. Staff was rude. Cake was served in plastic bowls I could go on and on. When I put a call into the manager, nobody returned my call. It has been two months since my event. I would not recommend to anyone

We decided to take the ferry over to Hingham and have lunch. The Beth was a nice surprise! We started with blueberry lemonade and a peach bourbon drink. We chose the burrata caprese for the appetizer and shared a slow roasted turkey BLT. It was all delicious! Our waitress, Kasey, was awesome. We didn’t feel rushed, we were able to enjoy the view of the harbor from inside. We would go back, great place for casual dining.

Unfortunately, our experience was not great
The food was good as was the ambience, but the service was not.
My family of 5(all adults) came for a late lunch/ early dinner Sunday.
We asked to sit outside because it is summer and the area had a number of large umbrellas.
We were seated and ordered drinks but by that time the sun shifted and we were in the blazing sun, our drinks were slippery and diluted because of the heat.
We politely asked if we could move to a number of empty tables in the shade, saying we would carry our drinks to the next table.
The server returned and told us that we could not move because all those tables may be needed.
Mind you it was only 4pm, so we endured and ate very uncomfortably and even had to ask for utensils and napkins after our food arrived???
We could have used those napkins earlier to wipe our brows and necks.
When we received the check I went inside and asked to speak to the manager who was standing well within earshot but ignored me.
After he finally turned around he looked irritated. I explained our poor experience and that it would be reflected in the tip. He made NO effort to explain or apologized then turned away. I believe his name was Joe. Having worked for years as server, bartender and manager of eating establishments I would have fired him on the spot.
Rude and very unprofessional.
We will not be returning.
I should add that there were many empty tables inside and were not given that option.

Truly phenomenal service. So many spots near the water just coast without extra effort. Not this place.

My friends and I came in last week and were served by Cassie and received exceptional service!! Not only was she fast but was very personable and attentive to my dietary restrictions. Will definitely be back again and requesting Cassie’s section!

Compliments to the Chef! SPICY TUNA TARTARE RICE CAKES was the absolute highlight of our experience. Avocado, jalapeño, spicy mayo, sesame & unagi on a crispy rice cake was absolutely delectable and something I could enjoy over and over again. Incredible! I also thoroughly enjoyed the 14oz CHARGRILLED NEW YORK STRIP with bordelaise sauce, garlic rosemary mashed potatoes & roasted brussels sprouts. Beautifully presented and served to my table with an open air setting with a comfortable breeze and a packed house of obviously satisfied customers. The young lady that greeted us on our arrival was so warm and friendly welcoming us in and making us feel right at home. This is such a gem of a spot set overlooking the Hewitts Cove Pier in the Hingham Shipyard. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Went into the Beth tonight to grab a bite and sat at the bar . Sat down and was greeted by one of three bartenders . Did not catch any of the bartenders names . There were two male and one female bartenders on . The female bartender asked us if we wanted anything to drink and we ordered she poured our glass of wine brought it over and slammed it down . How the glass didn’t break I don’t know . Through our whole experience the two male bartenders were very attentive and nice . She was not , she was very rude not only to us but to her co workers . What really put me over the edge was her constantly touching her hair and her phone and never washing her hands after , but she would serve drinks and be touching the rim of glasses she would serve to guests . A major hygiene issue and just majorly grossed us out .
I did enjoy the chicken Milanese I ordered but our experience with the female bartender totally ruined our whole experience .

The Beth in Hingham is a lovely restaurant. I enjoy their food, views and service very much! As a wedding photographer, I enjoy it even more! The space makes for such a fun atmosphere for a wedding. The tables offer unique seating for guests and a wide open dancefloor to get your groove on! The outdoor patio/grass area was perfect for cocktail hour. Sunset portraits along the harbor docks were breathtaking! The whole day was just wonderful. I am happy to recommend this venue for events and weddings! @alirosaphoto

This was the first time my friend and I checked The Beth out. We were not disappointed. Our meals were excellent and when my friend asked about the different desserts and found out that there was dairy in the ones she was considering, we were going to just skip it. The manager came over and offered her a fruit assortment. It was spectacular as was my maple walnut ice cream. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic experience.

The Beth Kitchen & Bar was a great pick for lunch and worked out perfectly for our group of seven meeting up with family. The setting is casual and comfortable, with indoor and outdoor seating — and on nice days, they open the windows to let in the fresh air. It’s located right on the water, so if you’re there for dinner, you might catch a beautiful sunset. The food was really good, and the portion sizes were just right. I’d recommend making a reservation, and there’s a decent amount of parking nearby.

Petra our server was truly exceptional, as were the other members of the staff. Clearly someone has done a good training job. Atmosphere, upbeat and enjoyable, beautiful views, not crowded, could be a bit loud when really busy. The food was very, very good. I recommend the beet salad with the salmon, which had an unusually crispy exterior without being overcooked. The grilled shrimp on the same beet salad were also perfectly cooked and seasoned nicely. . Eggs Benedict were good although we were not fond of the Portuguese bread, but OK. The ruby red mock cocktail was outstanding.
Other than the super service the espresso was best of all!!
