Petra our server was truly exceptional, as were the other members of the staff. Clearly someone has done a good training job. Atmosphere, upbeat and enjoyable, beautiful views, not crowded, could be a bit loud when really busy. The food was very, very good. I recommend the beet salad with the salmon, which had an unusually crispy exterior without being overcooked. The grilled shrimp on the same beet salad were also perfectly cooked and seasoned nicely. . Eggs Benedict were good although we were not fond of the Portuguese bread, but OK. The ruby red mock cocktail was outstanding.
Other than the super service the espresso was best of all!!

We celebrated our birthdays here and I've got to rave about the food, service and cool vibe in the dining room.
Sushi was our choice for lunch and it was fresh, delicious and even beautiful in its presentation!

This is a must visit when you're hungry in Hingham, MA at the Shipyard

I had my baby shower at the Beth’s bigger private room ($1,500 minimum for food & beverage), and I couldn’t be happier. Beginning with Kate from Briar Group (she was our event coordinator) to the wait staff and the help with our setup. The food on our prix-fixed menu ($55.00 per person) was really well made and fresh. I’m happy Kate was able to custom the menu so my vegan guests could have vegan options.
The mimosa bar ($48.00 per bottle) had the best bartender who attended my guests so well and was very helpful when we needed help with music and other things like taking a group picture. I wish the wall between the restaurant and the event room went all the way up to the ceiling so we could have our own music and not the radio from the outside of the event room. There’s no way for you to have your own playlist. Pricey place but worth it for a special occasion.

When this place first opened, it was great.
Currently, the food is that it's boring, at best okay, and often disappointing.
The service is usually good, and it's in a great location.
Locally, it's a last resort.

This place has cool ambiance. Not the most vegetarian or vegan friendly place like it used to be when it opened. Literally has maybe one or two things non meat on the menu, and its not a seafood place so it is a little disappointing. They also had good selection of cocktails

We had to wait 25 minutes for the meal though it wasn’t that busy and then the food was a true disappointment. My egg over easy was a hard boiled egg and the bread was a rock from staleness or possibly from being over toasted. Way too expensive for what they dished out. The waiter was curt and it was cold in there. We will never return.

"Wonderful" - That's how I'd describe the staff, food, and atmosphere. We hosted a family member's 60th birthday dinner at this venue and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The staff support at every level was friendly, approachable, and accommodating. They went above and beyond to ensure our guests had everything they needed and that every detail went off without any kinks. Thank you for a stress free, fun and memorable experience!

I dined with four other adults. IMO, the food was OK but the service was absolutely awful. Having worked in the hospitality industry for over 30 years, I understand how a busy restaurant operates. It's not easy and a lot of work. Third time at the Beth and again, the service was awful. The waiter was simply clueless and rude. We barely started eating our entrees that he asked if we wanted dessert and coffee, didn't provide sharing plates for appetizers, not all guests had silverware, forgot to deliver some of the drinks, and so on.
