Really tough to pay $40+ entrees that are completely unseasoned, not seared and pooled in oil. We got the steak and swordfish. All of our sides also had a pool of oil underneath…it was so unappetizing :(
Crab cake appetizer was the best thing but felt like mostly filler. Service very slow. Unfortunate because it’s a cute atmosphere inside.
My friends and I found our new spot. Service was great ....very fun dinner
Fantastic food and atmosphere. Loved the swordfish and my wife couldn’t have enough of the scallop special. Definitely will back to try some more.
Food was fantastic and so were the drinks. Easy walk from the lifts for lunch too (and cheaper). Southwestern Egg Rolls are a must. Also picked up dessert to take home and it was great!
I had an incredible night at this restaurant, which I chose on a whim. From the moment we walked in, I felt transported back to a golden age of dining. We were warmly greeted by a joyful host who quickly seated us, even ahead of a late party.
The vintage atmosphere captivated me—the soft candlelight and the faint aroma of a lit fireplace had me sold immediately. Our waiter approached us with a beaming smile and a great attitude, effortlessly managing at least six other tables while making sure we felt attended to without ever feeling rushed. The drinks arrived—my classy Negroni and a martini felt like something straight out of "Mad Men," perfectly balanced and inviting me to savor each sip.
The fresh bread with seasoned olive oil was a lovely touch, setting the stage for what was to come. I couldn’t wait to order, knowing our time there was limited.
I opted for the broiled swordfish steak, which was tender and perfectly complemented by a bed of seasoned corn and a rich lobster bisque. I truly savored every bite, finishing my meal in 50 minutes because I couldn’t get enough and I am a fast eater. The scallop pasta was beautifully presented, with buttery scallops almost outshining the delicate angel hair pasta.
I could keep going, but you get the picture—this place is my new go-to. Whether you dress up for a fancy night out or keep it casual, you won’t regret stepping into this time-warped gem. The service, ambiance, drinks, and food rival places like Capital Grille or Davio’s, but without breaking the bank.

Delicious menu items.. the pear salad is delicious and a fabulous starter to share. I had the swordfish over the lobster succotash and it was fantastic.. the succotash alone would be a delight! Highly recommend and we can’t wait to go back. We ended with the flourless chocolate cake and it was perfect
Always high end food and drinks in a pleasant atmosphere.

I loved this place. I had the house special lobster ravioli and my wife had the scallops with lemon fettuccine. Started off with housemaid sausage and pickled onions and everything was absolutely delicious. Nice quieter atmosphere if you go early. The wait staff were excellent and the cider donut vanilla ice cream dessert was out of this world.
This is our go-to restaurant in the Hingham area now.

Wonderful location for a bridal shower. The room was bright and airy and the food was amazing.
Admittedly, the restaurant business post-covid is complicated, but our latest dining experience was subpar. First, our salads were drenched in Caesar dressing. Second, the wait time for our entrees was unacceptable (i.e, many diners who were seated after our party of just two people were served well before us). Third, the steak entrees were rubbery and watery in taste (requested medium rare) and unedible. Perhaps The Quarry had a bad night but be careful about ordering the Casear Salad and their steak entrees.
