So I hadn’t eaten here if a few years. I was very excited for their$31 (yikes!)steak tips that are their signature dish. I ask for medium cooked. With Mashed potatoes and mix veggies. The tips came out well done, mashed were dry as a bone and not very hot and the veggies were rock hard ( carrot’s broccoli and string beans ). Very disappointed. My wife had the chicken pot pie it was a 5 outta 5 stars. Excellent. Service was fine and the Guinness was outstanding! It’s unfortunate the famous steak tips weee tough and over done. I will go back as I love Irish pubs and the food! Just won’t do the tips!

A quintisential, old school trad Pub in downtown Hingham. The Snug has that genuine charm and coziness of a true Irish Pub, with all the authentic, unpretentious charm that one expects...... Live music was a serious plus, adding to the atmosphere. While the food can sometimes be a touch bland, depending entirely on the Dish - the Reuben sandwich was very very good, while the steak tips were a touch off - the Snug shines with offering a true feel Ireland, and is the Absolute Perfect Place to take a date, or be present with the one you Love, to savor and enjoy the moments that pass. Definitely go find, and experience the Snug for yourself !

One of our absolute favorite places in Hingham! The food is so consistently great and the staff is so warm and welcoming. We are there almost weekly and could not recommend them more! Incredible beer list as well

AMAZING Chicken Pot Pie!! Drinks are well poured, bartenders & waiters are always keeping up with drinks. No one ever had an empty glass for long.
