This is a class A restaurant with an extraordinary chef! The ambience is superb. We went on a freezing cold night and it was warm and cozy and luxurious inside. I loved the huge silver snowflakes hanging from the ceiling and the lights shining on the edge of the kitchen. It's just the best . The food is exquisitely delicious, prepared by an experienced chef who clearly knows what they are doing. My husband got the short rib ragu which was tender and flavorful with perfectly cooked pasta. I got the fennel crusted scallops with winter veggies over a smooth parsnip purree. The vegetables were cooked perfectly and the scallops were golden brown , slightly crispy on the outside and tender and sweet on the inside. They offer three different kinds of bread;one was a pumpernickel with chocolate chunks inside. They serve this with a homemade roasted tomato sauce with a touch of,olive oil. We also had the shrimp box for an appetizer, with crunchy fried shrimp and zucchini. Our waitress was delightful, friendly and knowledgeable and everyone was very professional. We celebrated our anniversary and couldn't have done it at a better restaurant.. it's one of,our favorites.

A jewel of a restaurant in downtown Hingham. The lamb was cooked to perfection. The selection of bread was delicious. Beef Bourguignon was sublime. I enjoyed the seasonal cocktail and dessert.

We asked for a quiet table when making our reservation and Tosca came through, putting us in the back room in a nice corner table. The restaurant is always busy/noisy but this was an important night for 6 people and we were able to have a nice conversation. The food was a little uneven with the steak choices excellent and the pasta choices just OK. Desserts were outstanding.

The service by our waiter Anthony was amazing. He was very attentive and knowledgeable. He offered great food and drink suggestions. The staff was friendly and helpful. He helped us to with two surprise birthday cakes. We were allowed to bring in dessert and balloons. It experience. I would definitely return.

We come here every year for New Years and we are impressed with the restaurant every year. The Pizza was great. The pasta was great but the Bison we ordered was overdone not the medium rare that we ordered. But the atmosphere was lively and the band was amazing.
