I was really looking forward to my first meal at Wahlburgers. We opened the door to find a kiosk to place order. We had a party of 5. Three men standing behind the counter knew we were struggling with this system. We were so frustrated and ready to leave. The woman bartender came immediately over to us. Had us seated immediatelyand took our order. She was the only reason we stayed.

The only thing that was disappointing was that there was no wait service there

A bar side with waiters and TVs or order at the counter and seat yourself on the other side gives you options. Staff always friendly and competent. 5 stars on the food considering what it is, Occasionally a little too much grease with multiple paddy burgers. That's said, you'd probably have to go to a steak house to find a better burger (for $25) IMHO.

Wahlburgers is a very wasteful restaurant , I had ordered a chocolate milkshake!! And because they made to much of it, I had asked for the rest of what they made .. n because "its in their policy" they just threw it away . So sad to see!!! Especially with today's prices on everything I just think this is a terrible policy!! N I will not be coming back to support this wasteful restaurant !!!!! This policy needs to change !!!! Very sad !!!

Update from last review, mainly because when we visited sometime ago, they said they no longer had the fish sandwich , but it appears it's back. So, we went back as my wife used to like it a lot. Sadly, it has somehow changed. Bottom line, not sure it's haddock, but the batter was different, and the fish just not as it was, no understanding why... It's a taste thing and it does not taste the same. In fact she said she'd just as soon eat MickyD fish, ohhh no, not doing it, so this is place we ate 1-2x a month and 5.0 to a now 1.0.! The buns are different, slightly bigger and softer, I liked that but she did not... So that's a wash because my " "Our Burger" was still a very good hamburger to the 3.9-4.0 score. Service is now self serve vs old at the table ordering which is what it is, just information. It all clearly cost cutting process. So overall score for the visit ia 2.0, no reason to return. The fish across street , Alma Move ( a Walburger owner) The overall score 2.0 no reason to return ...

Being from Oregon, I was kind of excited to find out this was the original Wahlburgers. Although the food was ok, the whole vibe was just wrong to me. Walking in it's very modern but you are also faced with 3 kiosks to order your food from. No wait staff unless you sit in the bar area. There is some stuff from the 3 brothers ( movie posters, etc) but I expected more. The burgers are plenty big but if you want fries you have to order them separately. The onion rings (also extra) were thinly sliced red onions. I had never had them this way and they were pretty good.We also ordered the fried pickles because I had never heard of that. There was not enough pickle flavor.Overall I'm glad I can say I've been there but it wasn't a big deal.

I didn’t know what to expect before coming. I was very pleasantly surprised. The burgers were cooked medium, to perfection. The toppings were definitely more on the premium end so they added to the flavor. The onion rings were good, but could probably do with some more seasoning. I’ll definitely come back.

Worst bun on a hamburger I have ever had, pasty, gluey, thick texture and it falls apart and they don't even toast it as far as I can tell. Then the fries were cold and stale which was amazing to me since the place was crowded and they should have had high turnover. Shake shack gave freshly made fries. And I had specifically asked for a cup of ketchup and they still only gave me packets. Milkshake was good, though, if you don't mind paying $7.50.

Sorry to say truffle fries weren't as great as they used to be, plastic cutlery and no servers ?

Used to love this place. Was a frequent regular. It's gone significantly downhill. Absolute garbage now. No service. Kiosk ordering that isn't even seamless. You think that's gonna fly in Hingham. Your original location is now a glorified fast food joint what a shame. Won't be back.

Amazing burgers and friendly customer serviceUpdate 2/2024There is now no service. We stood at the door for a while before the bartender told us we had to order at a kiosk then sit down...ok but then we couldn't even put in an allergy and were told to go elsewhere to order. Also if we wanted drinks we would have to have a separate tab. Used to love this place but now feels like premium fast-food. Don't think I'll bother coming back since people make a place as food is served everywhere.
