“As we came in, we noticed that there was a clean white fabric tablecloth on each table. The waitress was pleasant.\nWe had the Chilean sea bass, which comes with a salad, a hot onion soup, fried rice, mixed vegetables, three shrimp, a ginger sauce, and a slightly sweet white sauce.“

The staff went above and beyond — multiple people came by to thank us for coming, especially when they learned we had driven two hours to be there. That kind of genuine hospitality is rare and made the night extra special. Dinner started with warm homemade bread and oil for dipping. Scott had the braised short ribs, I had the steak tips with grilled veggies — both were absolutely delicious. We ended by sharing the most incredible strawberry shortcake with homemade grilled biscuits, lemon curd, strawberries, ice cream, and whipped cream (with a candle, of course!). 🍓✨ In a city with so many options, Joey’s was truly the best choice. We’ll definitely be back — even though it’s a two-hour drive, it’s absolutely worth it!“

“Wife saw this bar on Dexter so we live close and wanted to check it out, after going in and sitting at the bar we realized this place is an amazing spot music every weekend mostly old school rock which is amazing when you see half the place singing along.very special spot.we met the owner and the great bartenders had a great night. We came back maybe a month later and they still remembered our names which was like the show cheers, such a warm and inviting place. We now go most weekends to visit and have some great food and visit we think of them as friends. Stop by and check it out it's an amazing Oasis.“

“I've been coming here for a year now. The food is fantastic and the draft beer prices are amazing. But, most importantly the day bartender (MaryEllen) is amazing. She will treat you like a regular the first time you walk in, and it only gets better from there. I've never seen someone work so hard, and have such a great attitude while doing so. I am in the industry, and would hire her in a second. Please go, it is absolutely worth it.“
