I had the mortadella and the peach/speck sandwich and both had very fresh ingredients and I would reorder. I'm looking forward to trying the BLAT the next time I go.

Laura and her team at Blue Door Gatherings did an incredible job at our wedding! She worked with us to understand what we were envisioning for the wedding and produced a delicious seasonal menu served family style. Our ideas were pretty specific for some parts of the menu and extremely vague for others, but Laura did an amazing job in all cases as she brought our specific ideas to life and fleshed out our vague ideas with unique and tasty dishes. We had guests complementing the food all night-- we even had one guest running from table to table to eat any remaining grilled mushrooms that there might have been and people were still talking about the dulce de leche stuffed berliners the next morning.
Also of note, we had a number of guests with various dietary restrictions and they were all so thankful to have variations of served dishes that were safe for them to eat. We really appreciated the extra work it took to prepare and deliver these dishes and we know our guests did too!
P.S. The Window in Holyoke is absolutely worth a stop! We visited while we were still deciding on our caterer and had decided on BDG before we'd made it even halfway through the squash sandwich we ordered!

We have not stopped receiving compliments about the food from our Saturday wedding and our Sunday brunch. Multiple people told us that Laura’s salmon was the best they have ever had at such an event (or even compared to the best restaurants)! The chicken! The fruit salad with lemon curd! The cardamom buns and donuts! Laura and the entire Blue Door Gatherings team completely knocked it out of the park with their food offerings, attentive service, and professionalism, and we could not be more thankful that we chose to work with Laura and her team for our wedding weekend. They were also very flexible in meeting our requests and suggestions, but elevated them without being asked (e.g., the bloody marys came with incredible garnishes).
Throughout our events, each dish was delicious, thoughtful about dietary restrictions (in addition to a dairy-free Groom, we had a fair number of guests who were vegan, celiac, or some combination), and everyone was fed well and fully. We also had a raw bar for our cocktail hour that Laura arranged with Berkshore, and they were some of the freshest, most delicious oysters and shrimp any of us have ever had. No small feat given a sizable event on a warm day. We’re so grateful that we can continue to eat Laura’s food at The Window or at some of the events and special dinners that Blue Door puts on throughout the year. If you care about the food at your wedding (or any event you might be planning) being delicious and memorable, then hire Laura and the Blue Door team. You’ll be so thankful you did.

She created the world's most beautiful magical cheese table display. The lobster rolls were no joke some of the best I've ever had and I live in Maine! We loved having the food family style and the displayed desserts. Made it feel like a dinner party. She uses so many high quality, seasonal, local ingredients. Laura was thinking about our menu over half a year in advance which just made us feel so special. She is so creative and I would hire her over and over again if I could!
