I’ve been going to Schermerhorn’s for 30 years and it’s always great seafood at a great price. I’m a big fan of restaurants where you pay and order first and then sit down. Cool that they’re renovating the place can’t wait to see what it looks like.

I asked for a cheeseburger grinder only mustard ketchup and onions that was it and I got lettuce tomato mayo mustard ketchup and it took 45 minutes and the grinder was sloppy

The staff here were nice, but I wasn't impressed by the restaurant itself. It was strange because you have to order before you can sit down, but it seems like it's a "sit down" restaurant. Food was relatively expensive for not being all that great. I will say that while we were there, food was spilled on the floor, and it was picked up, but not fully cleaned, and my dad slipped and almost fell. Turns out there was melted butter on the tile floor, and it was basically invisible in the low lighting. It's not a bad place, but it certainly didn't match the vibe it was giving off.

Ordered the buy 2 get one free dinners. The fish and chicken fingers were so overly battered and greasy, if we weren't hungry and out $40, probably would've thrown it away. They should be embarrassed to serve that to people. Won't be coming back. Guy on the phone was nice and efficient though.
