March 6th 2022: Cross allergy contaminated food even though both of my family members said they were allergic, reused plastic forks, no straws or napkins with the drinks, did not ask if anyone wanted soup or salad so everyone got salad, uncleaned tables, and basically no ventilation even though they are using fire to cook things, and dirty plates. August 7th 2022: Came with family to give another chance with dine in but same issues as before. They made food burnt, messed up an order and staff didn't clean up table through courses of food until we left. I do not recommend this place, the staff are the only nice people there.

Waited about 17min and no one came to the table. Got up and left. A man that looked like the manager watched us walk out not saying anything

This place was horrible, we asked what the picture of the food was on the menu and they gave us the wrong thing than we asked for fries and they ran out of them, the food was heavily overpriced and when we asked for silverware all we were given was a plastic fork wrapped in cloth, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT SUSHI, you can get better sushi at any other place.

The sushi was not good. We had sashimi and sushi rolls. The sashimi was partially frozen and it taste it weird. The sushi had bone and shell pieces. The services was also awful. Definitely bad sushi place. We had hibachi here before and it was Ok.

Want misogyny for dinner? Go here. Was sexually harassed the entire dinner by the hibachi chef and when I told the manager what happened was told that it was part of the show. Would not recommend.

Giving this 3 stars because the food was fantastic! The service was on the slower side, being a Monday I'm assuming they were a bit short staffed and she was focused on training the new employee. We were seated at the habachi table after 20 minutes with a group of other people. We got drinks to us after another 20 minutes. The sushi appetizer came out when we were about to eat the habachi, and then she brought over a mountain dew instead of a ginger ale. The best part of our experience besides the food, was the gentlemen cooking our habachi was genuine. Wasn't too over the top, but included everyone there! Took pictures of a few appetizers we had for sushi! I will try this place again, because it does have good food, but I hope they have a more experienced team after training is complete.

Absolutely the worst service and management! We will never go back! Here for my son's birthday and Mother's Day and from the moment we sat down until the moment we paid it was aweful. My kids ordered sushi and never got it, people next to us ordered food from kitchen, never got it. Server took our order and never returned! I went and complained to the manager David, and he was was if no help! I I've worked in the restaurant business my entire life and this was a disgrace. His excuse was it was Mother's Day, only take on what u can handle! Took my money this time but never again!

eating in is one thing, if you get "hot danny" as a cook then your golden, but he only does Hibachi, DO NOT, order out or sit in if it's not HIBACHI!!! every time i order out it taste nothing like sitting in at hibachi.. just ate there last night and now my whole family and i can't stop throwing up. must be food poisoning!!! , f*** this place

Best hibachi around. Portions are huge and the quality of the meat is out of this world. I always splurge and get the filet minion rare. It literally melts in your mouth. The chefs are really good about special orders or requests. The chefs are entertaining. Just so everyone knows Tioga get split between the chefs and the server at hibichi. I always give the severs an extra 5 or 10 on the side because the servers get paid only a few dollars an hour. The chefs are 15 plus an hour.

Totally unexpected sushi spot at the Holyoke mall... (Not to be mistaken for "mall sushi.") We have made the trek to the mall specifically for this place on more than one occasion. Always delicious sushi, nice atmosphere for a date night or birthday. The service and food have been great every visit.

Service was decent but that's all sumo had going for it. I got the beef ramen and it legitimately tasted like top ramen with added veggie and meat. For $17 I expected something that had actual flavor other than salt. The broth tasted like straight sodium. The beef was okay but nothing to rave about. The egg was disgustingly over cooked. Overall the whole dish was repulsive and if I could give less stars I would. The table was sticky, we were given plastic silverware, and there were black specks in my water. I went to this place pre pandemic and it was decent, but after this experience I will never go back. I'm still trying to get the haunting taste out of my mouth hours later.

I just felt so lost in this place. Upon walking in I was given acknowledgement which is always nice. But I got pointed to go in this direction. Then I get told to wait with another group of people who also look extremely lost. Finally get sat down on one do the high tables in the bar area. Took 15 minutes for them to figure it out but this will do. So I decide to be adventurous and order something I normally don't. I ordered the "Crispy Duck" appetizer and it was literally everything but crispy. I had to check the menu as I once again felt lost eating this everything but crispy duck.. I would have called it a small overpriced plate of sweet shredded duck and I would have liked it more. It's also a shame that these little bits of duck I was served just happened to be some of the most sorry pieces of duck I've ever had. I felt like an animal eating leftovers. Next came my Crunchy Spicy Crab, Tuna Avocado and Crispy Spicy Yellowtail Tempura Rolls. Sushi was great but it took FOREVER to come out. Even the lady running the bar went to urge the sushi guys to hurry up. She was hilarious by the way. Excellent service, she earned most of the points in this review. The Crispy Spicy Yellowtail Tempura Roll was one of the best tempura rolls I have ever had. I loved the breading on the outside. I prefer that over straight batter. The flavors were great too. For once the deep fried roll was actually crispy and I respect that. HOWEVER, the way it was cut does not help the situation. Unless you manage to shove the entire thing in your mouth, you're either going to get a mouth full of fish or a mouth full of vegetable. Uneven bites making one or the other very unpleasant. Other than my server and sushi that had it's ups and downs, there wasn't anything good during my visit. Everything just felt so unorganized when I came in and then imagine ordering crispy duck just to get soggy duck. Imagine getting a bite of Yellowtail only to be slapped on the wrist with a vegetarian bite right after because you ate all the fish. I'm lost I tell you.

The apps were almost definitely frozen, and the shrimp pad Thai was...congealed? Something about it did not taste right. Just didn't live up to the hype.

We ordered hibachi rice and steak and the rice looked a little off upon arrival. The rice immediately smelt weird like a petting zoo. After the first bite my boyfriend looked at me and said "taste this, it taste like hay at a petting zoo". We both agreed and told the waiter we will not be eating anymore of it. We googled what it could mean and it could of potentially been old rancid rice. However, the sushi was normal.

My family and my chef, was to busy chit- chatting and joking around with the other family. That was sitting on our same table, talking about if the meat is halal, and about other cultures. Which I don't mind, but then he got to in to it, that he just started joking around with them. Laughing with them, that he over cooked the rice to the point, that the rice was a tad burnt and hard, not edible. Plus I had told him that I wanted my steak medium rare but, since he had over cooked everything. Well you can imagine, my steak was way to chewy and my shrimps were way to rubbery and burnt as well. Plus, it tooked him like almost one hour and eight min, to serve us our food and that was without him doing the full show since he was already entertained with that family. Which after taking care of us the family he served after us had the full show, and were eating their food in within 15 to 20 min cause me and my daughters and family timed him. By 15 min around there they were already eating their rice, you know after the show and all that obviously, and then from there on what ever meats they ordered. Oh and let's not forget, it was my first time going to a hibachi and he ruined my first hibachi experience. I'll go again because my daughter and her partner always go there, and they are always saying how good they are and that day they weren't happy either. But they'll go again since they like that place, so like I said I'll make sure I won't get that guy again but I would like to make to get his name. So I could update my review, for the people who likes to eat good and soft rice and meats.
