I know, I know, Local small business and I want to LOVE this place... and while the service is great, atmosphere is relaxing, the food just isn't that great. I've had breakfast here 3x and while the prices are super affordable, it's just OK. The muffins are way too sweet and cakey, the home fries are overcooked and dry, the bacon is very well done (which is how I like it but if you don't- ask for it done less... weirdo lol), coffee is good, Italian sodas are good. I'd be curious to try dinner here but they close at 3pm weekdays and 2pm weekends. Do they do dinner for breakfast? I can only hope!Parking: Very small parking lot, Street has limited parking as well. But definitely not the worst I've seen.

The service, food, and drinks are always fantastic. I love their rotating seasonal lattes and today's yummy choice was Emerald Isle, Irish Cream and Coconut.

The people are great, its just a little confusing. Orders are not correct and you cant tell whether to pick up or wait at your table. Breakfast sandwich really good. Coffee

No table service, no menus, got wrong order. Server took out ketchup without asking and have it to another table! Homefries were big enough to cut with a knife and dry. I want them bite size. Not going back even tho I can walk there.

Stopped in for the first time this morning, the place has a nice vibe, food was ok. We ordered pancakes and received the wrong order, they fixed it pretty quickly. They seemed short staffed or it felt like that anyways. Oddly enough we went there because Denny's was very short staffed and the place was empty and we had to wait 30 minutes. So we were hoping that the Dam Cafe was going to be our new go to, but unlikely.

Came here on a whim due to being in the area. I was told about it. Glad i went. Went for breakfast AND lunch in the same day. Had the breakfast burrito for breakfast, which was great, and then a special for lunch, which was a chicken parm cutlet with fries. Easy to get to. Off street and a parking lot. Very friendly service. It looked like there were regulars, workers new some names and orders of the people that were there in the morning. Speaks to the diligence of the workers and the comforting atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Did not get to try the sweets, but ill be passing through in a couple weeks and plan on making the stop.Parking: Small lot behind the building, but there is plenty of on street parking.

Typical cafe...asked for hot water to make my own tea after purchasing multiple other items, and only after sitting back down did the manager (who watched the exchange at the register) come over and tell me I had to either pay the menu price for tea or leave.I understand not wanting an outside product, i just wish I'd been told at the register so I could have avoided the issue and enjoyed with the products I'd already purchased instead of being told to leave or pay $4 for hot water. There are plenty of other cafe's with managers who don't go out of their way to turn small misunderstandings into making customers feel unwelcomed.

I went to the Dam Cafe for breakfast on a brisk fall morning. A good friend had suggested I try their coffee. I ordered a breakfast sandwich, an order of hash and a latte. I was no very pleased with the food. The hash seemed like it came from a can. The sandwich didn't seem grilled, the meat seemed microwaved. But the coffee was delicious. I will give it another try soon.

I ordered a crunchwrap and a burger there . The Crunchwrap was not sealed or seasoned at all. the burger was not even put together in the box fries tasted like they were fried 3 times. The server we put our order in even said it was dead but it took almost a half an hour to bring

I rode for the first time today and I was excited for the cheeseburger chowder… when I got it I was so disappointed ?The chowder was horrible ? it was no ground beef in it, it was so thick , it had so much flour in it that made it even worse!!!!!!! Then the taste ?!!!!!! I was so disappointed! Not to mention me and 3 others ordered and one ordered the broccoli soup and that was just as bad!!!!!!!!!!!! No broccoli in the soup!!!!! Just more flour or cornstarch!!!???? highly disappointed! Not returning!
