What a find! Really well done on all fronts. Can’t wait to dine with you again.
I had ordered a steak au poivre medium well and I got medium rare. I asked that they redo the steak. They took it back and re-cooked. It came back, medium. I was then sent a manager which offered to have a different steak cooked or have it redone again. I opted to have A new steak made, but the time that it took was too late and the rest of the party had finished eating. I took it to go after which I found that The new steak was medium as well I had to cook the steak myself. I spent $75 to cook my own steak and eat it at home

In general, our family is not easy to please. After leaving the Mick however, every single person in our party of 12 was raving about the appetizers, their dinners, their drinks, our wonderful server, and the beautiful ambiance. We had an excellent experience and will be back.
Had a memorial dinner with six others celebrating the life of a good friend. The bar tender was very good, paid attention to our thirsty crowd. We were seated at a nice table with a clean table cloth. Our waitress was very pleasant and professional. My salad was great. I ordered the ribeye which was done as ordered and it was tender and delicious. My mashed potatoes were a bit cold and not the best. I'd recommend they add a baked potato to the menu. All of my friends were happy with their meals. The bill was large but you get what you pay for. I'll be back!
Delicious food, and well-priced for Appy Hour! Biggest complaint was the live music on the patio was too loud, making it hard to have a conversation with my date. We would have preferred it to be more in the background.
The brunch was a disappointment. Usually I hit a buffet and wander around wondering what to choose from. I come up with a strategy to pace and eat the best stuff there. Unfortunately, there was really nothing that enticed me. The traditional eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries were lukewarm at best and lacked flavor. Carving station offerings were dry turkey and super rare roast beef. The salad bar was wilted and other stations overcooked or dry. I will say the ice cream sundae section - and dessert bar looked amazing. The service was very good and the location ideal. Too bad the food didn't match expectations. Would be nice if they offered the choice to order off a menu for cooked to order food.
Entertainment was great, two out of four meals were excellent, other two meals were fair, sirloin tips were not tender. Waitress was pleasant until we presented a $50.00 gift card at end of meal and were informed issues with system and unable to process gift card. Asked for patio manager who the four of us found rude and very unprofessional. We came to dinner as a treat with the gift card, retired and on a fixed income. My husband 69 was upset and stated they need to process the card as he was not paying and they would need to process the card when system was working. Manager threw gift card on table and told us to take card with us and she would take care of bill and walked away. Her behavior was embarrassing. We left the gift card and cash for remaining amount and tip. We had our wedding reception at D 30 yrs ago as well as the couple we were with. The experience ruined a beautiful evening together and we have no desire to return. It was totally unacceptable how we were treated?
Beautiful night for dinner and cocktails on the patio with friends! The atmosphere was wonderful, food and drinks delicious and my short rib entree was enough for three people!! Our waiter was attentive and professional and the music/entertainment was awesome!!! I had only written, “Birthday” for occasion on our reservation and our waiter brought over a giant piece of cake to share with a candle and a Happy Birthday sign - unprompted!!! The only annoyance was the little gnat bugs that appeared and wanted to land on the food when the sun went down. Other than that, we can't wait to go back!!!!
It's beautiful, great food & service and a truly special place for any celebration 🎉 thank you for everything
I've been going to Delaney for over 24 years. This is the first time that we have gone and might not go back for a long time. We understand that the menu changes every now and then but there were key items removed from the menu over the past 3 years. The new menu is very disappointing. The removal of the baked stuffed shrimp, stuffed sole, coconut chicken, lobster and other menu items over the last several years is shocking because everyone else I know who frequents Delaney has recently said things such as "the menu sucks now" or "I don't know who's running the place but they took all the good stuff off the menu" - I ordered the scrod which was decent but the sauce was so overpowering (it needed to be reduced longer and cut with more fat such as butter) you couldn't even taste the fish the sauce was so strong. The side of bernaise sauce that I got was good. They can no longer make frozen drinks which is also a poor business decision as well. I loved getting frozen mudslides there. I believe there might have been an understaffing issue, the waiter was good but the appetizers took way too long to arrive and the place was not as busy as I've seen it. I completely understand the need to rotate the menu for what sells and what doesn't but we really struggled to find anything we would enjoy. We used to go once or twice a month, especially when they had the rewards card to get the points. I miss the old fashioned experience where you'd get a pallet cleanser, a chop chop salad and bread pudding to take home. The feedback my followers gave me is that it's "no longer the boije spot it used to be." The hours are very minimal now as well so I have trouble understanding why there have been so many detractions and how items could be sold out when they're only open for a few hours each day. Prime time Sunday was not busy at all which is a red flag. I would encourage Mick to get back to basics with what made Delaney great for so long. For now, it'll be awhile before we go back.

Reservation system went perfect. The food was excellent. Expensive menu but food costs are rising. Sadly, the drink menu was way too overpriced. After we sat, the table wasn't touched for 10 minutes. Not good. Appetizers came out with the drink order. Not good. Accousticks are hard so it was very noisy.
Excellent server - Aaron! Prime rib meal was good though way too much for one person. Noise level made the dining experience poor. 2 tables left and went elsewhere d/t the noise level. Manager said nothing can be done. Well not really true as other restaurants deal with it using acoustic tiles etc. In addition a party of 16+ should have been given a private room and not placed in the middle of the dining area contributing to the noise level. I've been there with that size party and was placed upstairs. So yes she could have done something in advance to avoid the terrible level of noise.
Have not been here in several years since we moved. Started at the bar. Bartender was excellent making my daughter a spicy tequila drink. Then sat at a table with Wyatt as our server. He explained that he was new but he also did an excellent job making great recommendations. Both my daughter and I had the short rib dinner. Cooked to perfection with mashed potatoes and jus. Will definitely go back if we are in the area again
The brunch was fabulous, as usual. Such a variety for everyone's taste preference—something for everyone. What a wonderful place to celebrate our daughter's 50th birthday! We celebrated our younger daughter's wedding there two years ago and it was just as perfect. We keep returning for special occasions again and again❤️
I gave this place another chance since owner change. The food and menu are blah with many deleted items. We started with pork belly and bruschetta. The pork belly was just dropped into the sauce, not glazed like before. The bruschetta was eh and not worth the money. The dirty martini was not even good. All of these things we used to love prior to new ownership. For my meal I ordered the chateaubriande. I ordered it rare. It came out rareish but was cold as if it sat around for a half hour. I can no longer recommend Delaney house it's not good food or drink and it is priced as if it is gourmet. I hope they find there way back , but until then go elsewhere...
