Very busy on a Friday early evening, parking challenging as their lot was full at 5:30, and side streets are mostly one way, but that's Holyoke. Service was exemplary - everything came out quickly. My companion had striped bass, a special, and said it was wonderful . I had the short rib which was outstanding despite a bit of fat, which is to be expected. Fried oysters great, flourless chocolate torte very good. Good selection of wine by the glass, and unusually generous pour. Atmosphere lively, pretty loud in the bar area, but nonetheless fun.So nice to have a place like this in downtown. Will return for sure.

Elevated pub plates. One of the best burgers around. Going back for the dessert next time when I save room!

TBH, I'm always skeptical about going here, and I'm always so happy I did! Delicious fish dinners.

We went last night and got the duck, the salmon, the carpaccio and the fried oysters.. They were all amazing and cooked perfectly!! Our server was Lisa, and she was beyond wonderful! We had a friend arriving late and as soon as he showed up she got his order taken and served within minutes. We were blown away! We will definitely be back and we HIGHLY recommend this superb restaurant!

We had a great dinner experience. Our food was well prepared and our server was great. Jerk wings are exceptional, ceasar salad and burger were delish, house made chips with warm carmelized onion dip soooo good. Only disappointment was the espresso martinis, ordered dark. Way toooooo sweet.

The avocado fries were so good we ordered a second round. Cod, cheek and rosemary fries were delicious. Aiden was right on top of our orders. We waited for nothing. Everything was hot flavorful and delicious. This is a hidden gem.

The quality of the food at Woodstone Tavern is great every time, and we've eaten here more than a half dozen times at this point. You can dress it up and have a filet mignon with crispy polenta and a wine pairing, or your dress it down and have a burger and fries. But...they will be rosemary fries. Nothing here is basic - everything is done with care and thoughtfulness. They are bringing in fresh produce and everything is delicious. We've tried the Woodstone Burger, the filet, the chicken, the lamb, and the cacio e pepe pasta and all of the dishes were top notch. We are food people and a lot of our favorite restaurants closed during the pandemic. This place deserves its accolades.

Yes. Yes. And Yes!Great food, friendly staff, good beers, nice space. O.K. That should be four yeses. My spouse visited Woodstone several months ago and insisted that the next time we were n the area we HAD to stop by.And now I see why.Best Rosemary fries ever - with or without the truffle aioli - nice touch by the way.Really delicious fish sandwich - yeah O.K. - one of the best ever. And a flavorful sausage and mushroom flatbread, too.The staff were truly friendly, and made us feel both welcomed and glad that we were there - how refreshing!!!And a nice selection of beers as well, several mass produced and a few locally “Mass” produced, including Night Shift, Abandon Building, and Fort Hill.We stopped in for lunch, we can only imagine how delicious dinner must be!We will make it a point to stop by whenever we are passing by.And we just wished that they were 60 minutes Les or so closer to where we live.
