Gave this place a second chance, but not again. Staff is reliably pretty much unfriendly and often chatting with each other rather than serving, Last time, the manager argued with me that authentic poutine comes with cold cheese when I simply ask for more gravy (to pour over and warm up the cheese). Last night, the firepit was not being used despite it being a beautiful spring night for one. Our inquiry was met with rudeness.
We had an event at Start Line for about 60 people. The team was absolutely incredible from booking, menu choice and day of event. The food, beer and service was excellent! I highly recommend having your next event here
Start Line Brewing offers a fantastic experience with a welcoming atmosphere, delicious food, and a great selection of drinks. The poutine was especially amazing, with perfectly crispy fries, rich gravy, and gooey cheese curds topped off with BBQ that hit all the right notes.
