We've had so much better from them in the past.. what we just received for 85 bucks, is so disappointing. I couldnt even eat it. Browning lettuce in the shumai, shrimp was very very tough, the avocado in our rolls was already browning and the fish was just mush. My tonkatsu soup was so bland, and the egg looks like it came from a processed container as it shouldn't have those indications on the bottom of the egg. My boyfriends $26 'steak and shrimp teppanyaki' meal was like soup slop.. he tried eating it, and now hes in the bathroom at this very moment, sick. Somethings clearly not right. I'm just appalled as they were once good. What's going on guys?

Starting with the good: The chef was amazing, food quality was great and chefs service was awesome. Provided a great experience for us. if you want good food and a great service for the majority of your meal try this place out!
The bad: The busser/greeter guy who gave us soup and the check was extremely rude while we were ordering and didnt treat us well UNTIL he noticed me slip a few dollars to the chef (I watched him look over while i slipped him the money) After that point he came over and asked us VERY VERY VERY… Nicely how our food was. I let him know the food was amazing. However he was extremely helpful at this point where it made me and my wife extremely uncomfortable, when he handed the check book he hovered over my wife as she wrote the tip. She closed the book and he picked it up before she could even put it down to look at the tip. We go here about once/twice month with groups of people and have never received service from this greeter and will not be coming back for a while in hopes that the owner/manager handles this appropriately. I understand that times are tough right now but that is no reason to put a reliable customer in a uncomfortable situation.

Our favorite sushi place in Metro West and it's also our young kids favorite overall restaurant. The fish is so fresh and very generously portioned, the prices are reasonable and they're very consistent with the quality.
Our favorite rolls are the Outstanding, Passion, and Fancy rolls. The avocado salad is huge. Our kids all share the Beef tataki, pork shumai, crab rangoon, and edamame appetizers as their meal.
Dietary restrictions: Very dairy allergy friendly.
Large and unique dishes. Very pleasant atmosphere. Good service. Tuna tartar appetizer had some crunchiness, topped with avocado and mango. Different from the usual and quite delicious and filling. Feng Special Roll had lobster, cream cheese, and asparagus topped with avocado. Asparagus was cooked perfectly to add crunch. Very big portion. Sakatini was the perfect accompaniment, and the waitress willingly accommodated my request for less syrup. I also recommend the Seafood soup tofu.
