Another fabulous slice of heaven. Around for a limited time. Supposed to close next year so get here while you can. Known as the best dive bar in Hull and the only one below sea level. I was promised to be amazed and this place did not disappoint! As my reviews may suggest, I love me a dive bar and this one is a classic. Wish it was here forever but plan on coming back as much as I can until it's gone. Truly phenomenal! Why go to the beach if you could come here? Came here with my wife and sister, always wanted to stop in and see what it was like. The outdoor seating looking over the bay is awesome.
The drinks were reasonable and well made. We had margaritas and Gin & tonics.
We had a second round and there was a mistake mad in the type of tequila and the bartender couldn't have been nicer as she corrected it. Great service...

Simple place - but that‘s exactly the magic. No Bohai No ChiChi but basic good drinks at a perfect spot - as long as the sun is out and it is warm enough to sit on the terrace. Don‘t forget your cool sunglasses.

This is a local treasure in the basement of a house in a boatyard at the end of a peninsula. The long-time owners Mike and Stephanie just sold the building, but will continue to run the bar for maybe a couple of years. Come here while you can, and more importantly, please come here often and spend a lot of money so it will be such a goldmine that it will continue forever. The basement is dark with walls encrusted in many decades of history, but there's also a patio overlooking the harbor that is an absolute gem in good weather. It comes with a ship's wheel, gyro repeater and a pirate dinghy washed up on the beach. There's Yuengling on draft and the Bloody Marys are fantastic - practically an alcoholic salad in a glass. To me, this is the best bar ever.
