Shipwreck’d at the Nauti Dog is a wonderful place at the very tip of Hull with an amazing view over the ocean to see Boston. The restaurant offers a waterfront or beachside vibe. The cold and hot lobster rolls are served with huge chunks of buttered lobsters on rolls grilled to perfection. The fried haddock sandwich is the best, cooked perfectly with a crisp outside and flaky inside. The fries and onion rings are perfect. The fried scallops are cooked perfectly, though the batter could be more crispy. The checkerboard tenders and fries are really good, but the while belly clams were undercooked and refunded. The outside seating area is very nice with sun and shade. The service is quick and everyone is very nice. The young lady who took the order was sweet and kind, and the two guys cooking were ridiculously awesome, upbeat, and friendly. For $100, the meal looks solid but on the pricey side. The beer was at room temperature due to being busy. Worth the drive and so much better than the two places on Quincy Shore Drive.
