Our server was exceptional. I brought out of town guests and they were impressed with the restaurant.
Food and service was very good. When we arrived we were seated at a table right by the door. We asked for another table ( there were many empty tables) but were told that all the tables were spoken for. None of the tables we asked to be moved to were occupied at any time from our arrival through our departure. A bit disappointed with the hostess and her response to our request, especially since they could have accommodated our ask very easily.
Nice concept. Needs fine tuning with seating and music show/talent. The digital fireplace on the large screen added a nice warmth to the atmosphere. Loved the large circular bar, although it wasn't where I was seated. Tapas concept was delightful. The menu bites were not consistently delicious however. My server was gracious and prompt. The neighborhood is also very quaint. Enjoyed the evening out.
Incredibly delicious food. Tapas to share. Incredible espresso martini. Awesome servers! Fantastic live jazz band
EmBargo in Hyannis is a fantastic spot for a lively night out. The small plates are creative and flavorful, perfect for sharing with friends, and the cocktails — especially the martinis — are top-notch. The atmosphere is energetic and fun, with friendly staff that make the experience even better. It can get busy and a bit noisy on weekends, but that’s part of its charm. Highly recommend for a night of good food, great drinks, and a vibrant vibe!

Best martini's on the Cape. The service was great as was the food. We had a party of 8 and everyone was happy with the service, the timing of the food and the quality of the food. Very friendly staff.
Good food. Nice staff. Bathroom was atrocious. You could smell it 10ft before you got into the men's room. Floors were like fly paper. 🤢

First visit to Hyannis and Embargo was a great place for our first dinner. Food was great and our server, Karla, and her team treated us with great care and respect. Embargo is a fun place. Please know that "energetic" does not fully describe the atmosphere. The music adds to the fun of an evening at Embargo. We plan another visit during our time here in Hyannis.
Happy hour is always happy with a lot of menu favorites 1/2 off (including shucked local oysters!). John was our server on this visit, and like all the service professionals we have experienced - on top of things, funny, sweet, professional and on top of that menu! Of course our favorite is their eggplant parm (which unfortunately has shrunk a bit in size - so we got 2!). Always fun, always amazing service, great bar vibe, good times!
Just a weird spot, as we walked up we were given a lot of attitude about our outfits and what we were wearing.
We were turned away, but we went down the road to an amazing Irish pub that had a great atmosphere, great service and an ever better owner.
Embargo, disappointing, security guards were so rude and unprofessional.

Security guards were aggressive, didn’t let our black friends in because they wore a hat, racist.. go to the irish pub down the street if you actually want a good time.
Fun vibe! Martinis were strong but yummy! Love the variety. I wished they didnt play alot of EDM
