This independent local establishment is highly recommended for those seeking a lively and enjoyable meal. The Auld Triangle has the soul and menu of a true Irish pub. Parents brought their children, the band played traditional acoustic folk, and sports fans clinked mugs and renewed friendly rivalries at the bar. The staff was diverse and friendly, but the food was the star. In addition to hearty Irish stew, cottage pie and bangers and mash, the chowder and fish and chips were as good as any. The owner actually walks around and checks to see if things are good with customers. This was a fun Irish establishment! The bartender was attentive, the owner was welcoming and the crowd was friendly. Locals and tourists trickled in and out, and it was a fun crowd. Great food, and great company!
