This is our neighborhood restaurant and we've eaten here quite a few times every year since opening, and got takeout at least 1x a month when they had the Covid special. We're definitely not regulars and aren't greeted as regulars (you can tell who are the regulars-everyone stops by to chat and check on them). The food is usually good to very good--sometimes inconsistent (I tend to order the same dish). Most recently, we had a good meal--the Venezia was excellent, the Caesar salad was excellent, and the Cacio e Pepe was fair. However, the service was terrible. First it took a very long time for the server to greet us and take our order (felt like we were in Europe!). Then it took a very long time for the food and drinks to be delivered--and everything came all at once. Wine, beer, salad, pasta arrived all together.

This is a great little spot of a nice casual dinner with friends or family. The food is always delicious and the staff is helpful.

Everything was perfect. The swordfish special was incredible. The carbonara, best we've ever had. This restaurant never disappoints.

Antonio‘s Barcaro was more than outstanding outstanding. I spent 10 days touring Rome and Tuscany and this matched every carbonara Cacio Pepe and Ragu! The bartenders were great the ambience fantastic. In four weeks. I've been back six times! Oh, I forgot to say the value was incredible..

This place has excellent food. I have yet to try anything from here that isn't great. Given their quality, it's amazing that they aren't more expensive. You can go to plenty of places with higher prices that don't come near the quality of Antonio's Bacaro. Service is good too, the place looks nice, it's not too loud— truly no complaints at all. Try the pork belly appetizer.

This is one of our favorite joints! You new to Boston? Try this place before the North End. Espresso salmon is my recommendation but the filet mignon is always cooked to perfection.

Great little neighborhood restaurant. If we lived closer I can see going there a few times a month. Food was above average and affordable. Drinks looked delish. We ate outside but inside looked cozy.

My sister ordered an espresso martini which was baisically just espresso. She asked if she could have something else and the server asked her what's was wrong with it. After my sister told her she was super skeptical and lingered around with the drink like she wasn't going to send it back. It was 2 seconds after she ordered and hadn't really drank any of it. Idk what that was about. The experience left a super bad taste in my mouth. The calamari which is normally really good was under salted and bland, the marinara tasted like water (they don't have to keep making it in house). The mozzarella and prosciutto wasn't good either. We didn't order any mains. We asked for the bill and went down the street. The lack luster food and the server being weird about us sending a practically untouched drink back was enough for us to spend our money somewhere else

Appetizers, dinner and dessert were all excellent! Morgan our server and the bartender who custom made a delicious mocktail all amazing! We will certainly return to Antonio's Bacaro!

Love this place, the staff is super friendly and the food is delicious. I travel from the south shore just to enjoy this place. All the stars, I'll be back often.

Great local spot before hitting Riverside Theater Works community theater, or any other event. Attentive service by everyone with friendly, sincere smiles. Food and cocktails were delicious! Fried olives!

First visit, but will not be the last. Food and service were top shelf. Was suprised to find such this restaurant in Hyde Park. Reccomend highly.

Truly Antonio's Bacaro is a hidden gem in Hyde Park. The food is outstanding, from the appetizers to the entrees to the dessert. The veal meatballs for appetizers are a must-try, and the duck gnocchi is a perfect twist on a classic. The wine selection was broad, and the service was excellent. This restaurant has just become one of our favorites.
