Fun local Asian restaurant. We heard of them because a musician friend of ours had a Tuesday night jazz gig there. We sat at the bar, where the service was terrific, but wasn't perfect for watching the band. The menu is pretty extensive, and we had both stir fry and sushi options from the menu. We enjoyed the food, the vibe, and the music! Jazz every Tuesday! We'll definitely be back.

May Flower is awesome! The Chinese food is super tasty and authentic, and the sushi is fresh and really well made. But what impressed me the most was the service. the guy staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcome the whole time.
It’s not easy to find a place with both great food and such thoughtful service. Highly recommend if you’re in the Ipswich and craving Chinese or Japanese food!

I recently ordered takeout from Mayflower Restaurant, and their sushi was absolutely outstanding! Each piece was buttery and fantastic, highlighting the freshness of the fish. The sushi rice wasn’t hot, which I found to be a positive—it allowed the flavors to truly shine without being overwhelming.
