Let me put it you this way, I’m Mexican born and raised in Los Angeles. I have been looking for an authentic Mexican spot since I moved to Boston four years ago and I finally found it here 🥲 everything is delicious, the salsas can be made spicier if you ask for it, and the staff are super friendly. If you’re like me looking for a piece of home I recommend coming here no questions asked

LOVE Abuela’s Table! Their lunch is especially fabulous. I particularly like the rice bowls, which are fresh, healthy, and flavorful. Also pictured in my photo are the mole enchiladas. Yum! Great staff, too. Highly recommend.

Abuela’s Table has a lot of pressure on it by existing in the location of former neighborhood favorite, El Oriental De Cuba (RIP). Thankfully, this new spot is fantastic! I was impressed by their variety of vegetarian options, including some I’ve never seen offered at other Mexican spots. I got the fried avocado tacos and the elotes and my friend got the birria tacos. They came out fast, hot, and fresh and we absolutely devoured them. The service was attentive and friendly and the bill was cheaper than most Boston area restaurants. Will absolutely come back to this gem!

Got delivery. When I opened the chicken burrito, it had almost no chicken in it. Just some very small flecks, less than a tablespoon worth.I can't even call them pieces or chunks of chicken. I didn't like the sauce on the rice and beans enough to eat that alone. I've never had a burrito like that.

Came here for a quick dinner with my husband after seeing rave reviews and it did not disappoint. Would highly recommend the tamales and the dinner chilaquiles! Service was so friendly and the food came out very quickly. Can’t wait to come back!

The birria tacos are amazing! Kind staff. Delicious horchata. I miss the salmon which is no longer on the menu.

Wooooow! Wife and I are visiting from SC and both agreed that we’d turn into regulars here if we lived in Boston. The birria was maybe the best I’ve ever had, guac was so fresh, and the service was excellent. We have Abuela’s marked on our map for our next visit to Boston, we’ll be back!!!

They have amazing tacos and believe it or not ramen!
Their beef birria ramen was something special. Perfect balance of heat and flavors the radishes were perfectly balanced by the broth.
Their tacos are melt in your mouth good too.

Best fish tacos I've ever had. Absolutely fantastic tamales. The menu had both fresh and light options as well as heavier options which was great to see. Worth going out of your way for.
