Let me put it you this way, I’m Mexican born and raised in Los Angeles. I have been looking for an authentic Mexican spot since I moved to Boston four years ago and I finally found it here 🥲 everything is delicious, the salsas can be made spicier if you ask for it, and the staff are super friendly. If you’re like me looking for a piece of home I recommend coming here no questions asked
LOVE Abuela’s Table! Their lunch is especially fabulous. I particularly like the rice bowls, which are fresh, healthy, and flavorful. Also pictured in my photo are the mole enchiladas. Yum! Great staff, too. Highly recommend.
Abuela’s Table has a lot of pressure on it by existing in the location of former neighborhood favorite, El Oriental De Cuba (RIP). Thankfully, this new spot is fantastic! I was impressed by their variety of vegetarian options, including some I’ve never seen offered at other Mexican spots. I got the fried avocado tacos and the elotes and my friend got the birria tacos. They came out fast, hot, and fresh and we absolutely devoured them. The service was attentive and friendly...
