Staff made me feel like I was annoying them when I went in to pick up my food. I was asked my name (There’s only one order on the counter) and if I got a drink (Look at the receipt?). Also kept looking at me as though they’ve never seen a person before but I digress, the Avocado toast and my Apple infused iced tea were bomb and definitely made very well. Great spot for convenience sake as well (Right across the street from Green St. station and various 15 min parking spots if you’re driving). Would definitely come back, probably with some people to distract me from the service.

We came here after brassica kitchen was too full for walk ins and were happily surprised. We’ve driven past here a lot and have always wanted to try.

First of all, this place is much bigger on the inside than you would expect. You order at a counter and can sit anywhere inside or outside. They also have a feature where you can scan a QR code at a table to order and the food is brought out to you.

We both got iced coffees which are comparable to other coffee places in the area.

The food was amazing— I got the evergreen avocado toast and home fries and my husband got the French toast with a side of egg and bacon (both of them only $3 each).

My only annoyance is that the ketchup and hot sauce come in PACKETS rather than bottles— you can never get enough of the ketchup and hot sauce from packets, it’s messy, and it’s annoying to do when enjoying a great meal.

Vegetarian options: I am a pesca-vegan (I eat fish but no other animal products) and found that there were not a ton of options on the menu, but enough good quality food that I still enjoyed it

Went for breakfast this morning , food was ok but the person that gave us the coffee had a nasty attitude. My aunt asked for milk in her coffee and person with the mask rolled their eyes. Sorry we were such an inconvenience to your Sunday morning, never again.

The lack of online menu limits customers on the great options you all have to offer. Home fries were good but too much salt

Ordered an avocado toast and it wasn’t toasted, became soggy in the three minute walk home, also had very little flavor. Love the location this place is in but the food is always pretty disappointing, coffee was very watered down as well.

Side note, why so many umbrellas? It’s an obstacle course to walk around if you are 6’ or taller.

It's a quaint urban eatery with a country flare with a variety of eats and sweets.

Ordered a veggie burger which was yummy; the fries were the thicker kind. I ordered online, and it gave me the time it would be ready. I arrived a little early and stood by the pick up area. There were two front of house staff taking orders and making coffees, and they did not welcome me or ask me for my order number. I waited until a few minutes past my order time, thinking maybe it was not ready, since there was a large group on the patio. But then someone else came in for pick up, and then the server/barista noticed me and asked me for my name. My food was barely warm by the time I got home. Very disappointing.

First visit was the shepherds pie, it was a cool night and screamed warm childhood memories, second trip was the surf and turf sliders. Absolutely amazing! It was a small gyro with a seafood surprise. This last trip was the quesadilla, outstanding as well. People, staff, and vibe is amazing, and hopefully, I will run into Bridgette again. Just make sure you stop in. The whole work crew loves the spot, I'm sure you will as well.

Healthy food. Their breakfast burger is good but the avocado toast ( the one with the salmon) is Amazing. Generally good service nice place to sit down and have a quick bite.

You might end up paying and tipping for a $4 espresso drink and then waiting for the baristas to chat to other customers before putting a cup on an automatic espresso machine and pressing a button to make your drink.

It is true that there is little to no competition in the area so this is often your only option for a cafe

Food isn’t bad, but prepare to wait at least 45 mins - 1 hour on the weekends for food (even for one breakfast sandwich to go). Waited 40 mins for one sandwich (other tables looked like they had been waiting longer). Asked politely for status and was told they’re working on it. Lot of good comparable options in JP - Mike & Patty’s, Monumental, Brassica - I would recommend those.

They were extremely busy but were still able to handle my takeout order with little delay. It's hard to beat these prices in Boston and I've never had a bad meal from here. They're a neighborhood gem.
