I *want* to like this place. I mostly do. I have gone a handful of times, and it seems like a nice little place. It's inconsistent in food quality though, and feels disorganized in terms of communication. Sometimes the food is good, sometimes it's just alright, and very occasionally (see next paragraph) it's not great.
The oatmeal cookie I had today tasted like baking soda and had little balls of baking soda in it, and was quite crispy on the outside (which is good) but a bit underdone in the middle (less good). It was quite good the last couple times, so that was disappointing.
I ordered via phone and was told 10min, which tbh I didn't really believe because it always takes a bit longer than that in my exp, and also it was lunchtime so I knew there was a possibility of a lunch rush. Took me 15 min to walk there. It wasn't ready when I got there so I waited, which is fine. But then about another 15-20min passed and they hadn't called my name, although other orders had come out, and I had one of their reasonably uncomplicated sandwiches. So I asked, and... turns out it was ready a while ago. I know it was an accident, but it could have been avoided if they had a better communication system, and it ate up my whole lunch break.
Not a great experience today, but I hope it will be better if I go again. Definitely not going to order during the lunch hour anymore though.
Their home fries are good; nice and salty, but not too too salty.

I can’t recommend Fiore’s Bakery enough! Seriously. If you are even remotely close to Jamaica Plain you gotta check this place out. The vegan pastries are remarkable. The coffee really wakes me up. The breakfast sandwiches? Don’t even get me started. Phenomenal customer service as well. Check it out y’all!

Great cakes and pastries including the vegan ones, street parking often a challenge.

The food used to be good. Now it’s inedible. I don’t know if they changed the baker and chef but this place isn’t as good as it used to be. We didn’t finish our food. Really disappointed that this place lost its quality.

Owner was passive aggressive and rude and kicked out a customer although she bought something.

We got a vegan wedding cake from Fiore's Bakery.
Pros: The cake was very affordable, looked beautiful, and tasted amazing. Even our non-vegan guests commented on how good it was! We also loved that they offered gluten-free cupcakes for our guests with dietary restrictions.
Cons: The ordering process was unfortunately quite disorganized. We received a call on the day of pickup asking what design we wanted, even though we had confirmed the details with an employee several months earlier. When we re-sent the design that had already been approved, the employee responded in a rude manner, and we felt the response was unnecessarily defensive. More particularly, the employee dismissed our concerns on the phone, continued to cut us off, and attempted to gaslight us into thinking that we caused the miscommunication (despite showing screenshots of our continual communication with our point of contact at the bakery about our design for over a year).
While the end result was wonderful, the experience leading up to it was stressful. I’d recommend Fiore’s for their delicious vegan cakes, but would be cautious about using them for weddings, and suggest confirming design details multiple times to avoid any last-minute confusion.

If you’re looking for the best coffee shop in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, this bakery is the place to be. The breakfast here is absolutely fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to start your day. Their pastries are hands down the best in Jamaica Plain, with every bite tasting homemade and baked to perfection.
What really sets this spot apart is the people. The owner, Charlie, is truly a diamond in the rough—down-to-earth, welcoming, and passionate about what he does. The staff reflects the same warmth and friendliness, making every visit feel special.
One of my favorite parts about this Jamaica Plain bakery and café is the cozy spot in the back where you can sit down with your coffee, relax, and enjoy the atmosphere. It’s a wonderful hidden gem in the neighborhood, perfect for breakfast, coffee dates, or just a quiet moment with a pastry and a latte.
I highly recommend this bakery to anyone in or around Jamaica Plain. Whether you’re local or just visiting, make sure to stop in—you’ll be glad you did!

Walked in and ignored for 10 minutes by someone walking back-and-forth with new items for the display case. Not even a hello, I’ll be with you in a minute. Forced to walk out when they disappeared to the back.

Had trouble finding the store today called for direction and clarification. A young man answered the phone and was extremely rude, unprofessional and impatient. I still went and turned out there are steps at the front door and it’s not stroller friendly at all. I believe service is a very important part of being in the food industry. I would not go or recommend a place like this even if it may have good food.

I always go to this place to eat a chocolate pie, or buy it to take away. Today I sat with my friend's two daughters, they ate a cupcake, and I had the chocolate pie, but since I had half of the pie left, which is big, I asked to put it in a container to take away, and when the waitress came back I saw that they had taken more of the other half that I asked to pack! And the question is, how can I trust it?
