Service was slow because there was only one person and a bit of a line, but he did a good job of preparing the food. The offerings are pricey, but that's what you should expect on northeastern turnpike pull offs!

Super impressed with the steak tips dinner for 5. After a grueling week post-surgery for my kiddo, we had zero interest in heavy-lifting cooking and were worn down on less-than-healthy delivery. Fortunately, a friend sent us some FCK steak tips, steamed broccoli and mashed potatoes. Well seasoned, medium rare proteins, bright green veg, and creamy, peppery spuds - it was a no frills, perfectly executed feast. A few notes: the chocolate chip cookies tasted heavily of raw flour, and following the general reheating instructions (350 for 20 mins) yielded super well done tips. Better suited to just flash sear the steak stove top (which I did the second go-around because there were ample leftovers), or air fry for a few minutes, to keep that beautiful medium-rare. Steak and eggs for life! Delivery was spot on time, too. Great spot - looking forward to our next meal.

A great option for supporting a small business at the holidays. Partner and I did a small Thanksgiving to protect older loved ones. Ordered online about ten days before. $40 for Thanksgiving dinner for 2 was a steal especially knowing we'd blow that budget trying (and ultimately redoing) recipes on our own. The cornbread stuffing was a food epiphany. Also threw in an amazing apple crisp with a maple caramel sauce that my partner still dreams about. It was delivered the day before Thanksgiving with text alerts giving me an ETA. Heating up was a piece of cake. Thank you Fresh City!!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Fresh City Kitchen and their delicious food. The saved Thanksgiving for my dad after we couldn't travel to be with him for the holiday. Ordering was super easy online and I received an email from their catering manager who was kind and responsive when I sent her a few questions about the order. It was delivered seamlessly and totally safe and contactless to my dad's porch. I received text messages when the delivery was on its way and then when it arrived so I could keep my father informed. The food was nicely packaged and super easy for him to reheat. He loved it! He couldn't stop raving about how delicious it was and is looking forward to leftovers because the portion size was super generous. The Thanksgiving dinner for 2 that I got from Fresh City Kitchen was perfect! My roommate was also totally satisfied with his portion. Real turkey (not deli turkey breast), mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, root vegetables, cranberry sauce. All cooked to perfection. Just needed to be warmed up. And we both thought the price ($40 for 2) was very reasonable.
