Jeanie's is my husband and my favorite local spot around the corner to pop in after work, especially in the winter! (We also love the tots!) The folks who work here are great. They worked with me to host about 30 people for my birthday on a Saturday night, provided 4 free appetizers for the group, and a delicious birthday cake + candles! We had half of bar for 4 hours. The team there is so wonderful and made it all easy, chill, and a ton of fun!

Great fries! Tendies were solid. Great drinks! Heads up that they really won't give you water without charging for a bottle. Heads up for the lunch crowd that sometimes there is no chef and the yummy menu you saw online can't be done and it's only like movie theater food available. Definitely a neighborhood bar, so if you're not from the neighborhood it might be awkward. Heads up there is a cover charge for karaoke. Heads up their Touch Tunes machine will BLAST...

Jeanie Johnston is a bar where I sat with a friend and had a vodka soda and a Jack and Coke. Both drinks were acceptable. The service was plain and slow. Water, however, came with a policy I can only describe as “uniquely American.” The first glass was free, but any additional water required payment unless a shot was ordered.
