Loved my London fog! This spot is very cool with reasonable prices
Incredible latte. I got the L'avventura latte with oat milk and it blew my mind! Also extremely reasonable prices compared with other cafes in the area
Fantastic coffee, they roast their own coffee and very meticulous about the beans and process.
Really cool retro movie selection.

Looooove this place. I’m not even a movie guy, I just like the vibes, and the coffee is absolutely phenomenal. Some of my favorite drinks in the city of Boston. Creative and properly brewed. The pastries and snacks are also excellent! What a JP gem. I hope the VU lasts forever.

Place fantastic but coffee could be better
Best coffee in Boston. The biscuits are crazy good - all the baked goods are great, but somehow they keep coming up with new biscuit flavors and there’s simply never a miss. The coffee and snacks should be enough to get you in the door, but we’ve also been movie rental subscribers for about two years now. This enabled us to cancel our streaming services and experience the joy of picking out movies together, while visiting a neighborhood spot that we care about. I love this place so much.

The Vu is truly a hidden gem, and it’s a shame that more people in Boston don’t know about it! It’s Boston’s *only* video rental store (cue the nostalgia) AND they’re a micro-batch coffee roaster with a full-service coffee shop. Not only is the coffee delicious, but it’s so reasonably priced, which is such a rarity these days. They also have a microcinema where they hold screening events. Super happy to have a spot like this in the neighborhood!

I’ve had the iced coffee many times and it’s always great. Finally tried one of the biscuits today too and it was SO GOOD. Service is always friendly and fast. I only wish I lived a little closer so I could stop by more.

Best tea & coffee I’ve found near Boston. Wonderful staff & owner. Awesome vibe. Wish I lived closer as I would go everyday. Go and try everything!
No place to sit but lots to browse.

Iced drinks (two lattes, a cold brew, and a chai) were absolutely delish and affordable, the baristas were so kind, and the vibes of the shop 10/10! What more could you ask for?

Best biscuits, coffee, and movies around. The only media subscription I own that I'm proud of.

I haven't been able to even try their coffee yet but this is such a gem of a cafe! Their prices are so extraordinarily fair and they are all super friendly. I think I ended up going 3 days in a row last week. Their biscuits are incredible I got a pulled pork one and there were pickles baked into it was so so so good. The G rated cocktails are all really good too! They make the sparkling water in house, I almost finished my first one waiting for the crosswalk. They really have something for everyone here <3

Great coffee and treats! But their coffee beans are especially great. Their freshly roasted beans are so freshly roasted that sometimes they recommend that I wait a day or two before using them. They always help me understand my bean and roasting preferences. I’m always sad when I run out of beans on a Monday or Tuesday because they are closed.
