I’ve had a hard time finding truly delicious bakeries in Boston. Third Cliff is not only creative, but consistently quality.

I don't usually write reviews, but I have just been blown away every time I've gone to Third Cliff Bakery over the course of this summer. I ordered something different every time I went and there has not been one item I did not enjoy, even when I was skeptical about it. Today I had the street corn pastry and it was phenomenal. The people working there are always super friendly as well. Sometimes there is a long line, but the wait is totally worth it.

Their vegan baked goods are outstanding. The cardamom morning bun is a delectable treat and the blueberry muffin is just perfect- a rich bakery muffin with a crusty top! The coconut cold brew is a top choice for a sweet and creamy coffee. But the variety of plant milks at no extra cost make any coffee style great! The line may run out the door because of how popular this place is, but we had no trouble getting a place to sit inside on a beautiful summer day. Free wi-fi, too.

Best croissants in Boston by a long shot. Excellent lattes and chai as well. Staff is lovely and pleasant. Great place to sit and enjoy the sunshine. I love this place!

There is a huge line in the am. Got a small coffee and egg cup. Egg cup was too flakey and made a big mess but was good. Croissant was ok. They have a good selection. Coffee was good.

Really friendly owner-bakers who are welcoming to vegan folks. (Don’t charge extra for plant milks and have several options!) Although most pastries are not vegan, they typically have at least 3 options which range from sweet to savory (eg flaky bun, muffin, focaccia). The vegan blueberry muffin is especially good. Granola is also vegan. Busy on weekends. Airy interior with limited seating. Updated from previous review on 2025-02-16

My favorite bakery in the area & come here probably every weekish. They are so creative & kind. A true staple of the community in all the best ways. The baked goods are consistent & delicious from classics to ones they are doing just themselves.

Favorite neighborhood bakery! Love that they have vegan options (and also don’t charge extra for almond, oat, soy milk). My favorite is the orange cardamom morning bun (vegan). Second favorite is the blueberry muffin (vegan). Reasonable prices.. and absolutely delicious!

Wow! I can’t understate how phenomenal these pastries were!!! The sweet potato croissant was absolutely incredible, and to be vegan??? Wow. Insane. The rosemary & spices gave it a meaty flavor, which was unexpected but again, amazing. The guava & cream cheese? Incredible! Perfect ratio, guava tasted ripe & full of flavor! Kimichi & cheddar croissant? Insane as well. Buttermilk croissant? Phenomenal, a great test to the pastry makers ability.

Do not sleep on third cliff. they don’t make viral instagram croissants, but beat them in flavor all day long. No pastries were over $4.5, most $3.5-4, half the price of the notorious Lakon. Much better too. Thank you ❤️
