vegan options clearly labeled on menu with about 2-3 vegan breakfast and lunch choices and about 1-2 vegan pastries in bakery case. ordered the caesar salad as vegan, which substituted pumpkin seeds for the parmesan crisps. the strawberry matcha loaf was fluffy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious too!
In general, I’m a big fan of this place and bring friends from out of town here to show them our lovely community. The atmosphere is good, the food is solid, the drip coffee is generally good (but is often room temp by the afternoon which is frustrating), and many of the employees are very kind (Mike is wonderful).
One other employee in particular is consistently rude and gives me a huge attitude whenever I walk in, being totally unwelcoming on several occasions....

While visiting Boston for the weekend, I came here two days in a row for breakfast because it was just so good the first day that I had to come back! Besides their food & coffee being fantastic, this cafe is clearly a community gem and is worthy of all the support it clearly receives. I wish I had pictures to share of the Ula Sunrise sandwich and the blueberry scone, but they were so good I couldn't stop myself from eating them right away ? Definitely check out this cafe...
