Food was basic but for the high prices, I expect good customer service & for my cole slaw to taste like cole slaw, not spoiled cabbage. Customer service was a 0. The fat "waitress" Erin/Aaron kept her back turned to me and only made eye contact with & spoke to the other person I sat with. I guess I wasn't white enough like everyone else who comes in here. She didn't introduce herself, was very unwelcoming and when she asked us if we needed anything else, she didn't even wait for either of us to answer. At the end I asked for a to go box. She grabs it and walks toward me. Thinking she's bringing me the to go box, she walks right by me, attends someone else 1st then came back to give me what I asked for. Your tip would've been bigger had your service been worth it?. Never again.

First time here today. Atmosphere fun and comfortable. Bartender we had for lunch was pleasant and knowledgeable about beers. Our food was ok at best. I had the fish and chips for $19 and it was 95 % french fries and there were 2 very small, very over cooked pieces of fish. Husband had roast beef hoagie with onions and peppers and potato chips. Sandwich was good, but dry. Chips over salted for our taste. Probably won't return.

We came in for a late lunch (thinking it’d be slow but it was busy) so we waited awhile to be seated. Then we thought we had about 30min to eat before we had to be somewhere but the server finally came and got our soda and then finally took our order. When we saw the food was taking forever we asked if he could wrap it to go and we could pay. They were nice and apologetic that it took so long but when the food finally arrived we had to go cuz we were already late. The food was great except my vegetable sides were drowning in oil. Otherwise the chicken wrap and his salad and my Reuben were great. I’ll just know next time to either come when I’m not so rushed or find out when they’re slow.
A reuben sandwich should not cost this much, especially when so subpar. Don't get me wrong, the turkey on the sandwich was good. I didn't order a turkey sandwich. There was no sauerkraut, no thousand island dressing, no pastrami. How can you call this a reuben, especially at such an unreasonable price? Bread was toated nicely.

Dinner started ok. Apps were good. Dinner came and it was laughable. I ordered a med cheeseburger and when I went to put mayo on it literally one half of the Burger was totally burnt and solid as a rock. I told the waitress and her response was "He thought (assuming the cook) I would say it was overdone. She brought me out a new burger in literally 3 minutes so I'm guessing it was one that was supposed to be from someone else. The second burger was cold and the bun was stale and falling apart. The waitress apologized and I told her it was not her fault. I did tell her that the cook should be embarrassed to send out not one but two extremely overdone and inedible meals. The rest of the parties meals were fair at best. I can count on one hand the number of times I have complained about how a meal was prepared but this was definitely one of those times.

The food is disgusting, French onion soup tastes like it came out of a can, no bread in it and the cheese was ridiculously overwhelming. The calamari was soggy and virtually unidentifiable more banana peppers and lettuce than calamari and what little calamari there was, was so mushy and gross was inedible. The waitress was very nice however. We will not be back!

We came here for the second time giving the benefit of doubt that the first time was just a bad day at the restaurant. Well we were wrong, food was good. BUT customer service (at least from the waitresses and hostess. The sign says wait to be seated and the hostess doesn't even greet us walks by us twice and then finally gestures from by bar to sit wherever (still didn't come up to us as guest). So we sit and we waited for a menu for a bit, and then when we ordered our appetizer came literally before our food (should of came before that's why it's an appetizer) I can get past that but the waitress was totally unfocused, didn't introduce herself at all and then took our orders and brought the wrong food. Then when I said it was wrong which was not to bad it happens but I was told I'd get my meal free of charge, and then instead came out and told me they changed the price from the mess up to what I actually ordered. And told me to take home the mess up order? I don't think me and my kids will be going back. And also they said "sorry for how long the food took" because they had ONE COOK. shouldn't they probably tell you that before u sit down?
We had a great selection of apps, sandwiches and beverages after riding the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail. Only a,tenth of a mile from the southern trail head.
