Went for the first time yesterday and it was amazing. I got two 10” pizzas and a cheese danish all for around 30 bucks. Excellent service and the food was amazing. Will definitely be going back.

The food took 25 minutes to make 3 breakfast sandwiches, and they got the coffee size wrong. It’s a nice little place in Lanesborough, and I respect the man named Jake, which is what this place is named for, for serving in the military, but I’m used to quick sandwich making. Lady at the front was very nice though.

5 star experience from the food, to the drinks, to Kim (the owner) sharing her sons story and making sure he lives on in more than just memories! We live 3 hours away and was there on vacation, but I would drive there just for Jake's Java!

Let me start by saying this is one of the best local coffee shops I’ve ever been to in my life. The food was incredible and fresh. The story behind every little detail incorporated into the bones of the shop really makes you appreciate everything about it. 100% worth a visit. Give up on chain shops and support local!

We're in the area traveling from Canada, and seen this place and decided to stop. Turned out to be one of the best decisions because their food is absolutely amazing, would 1000% recommend to anyone that's in the area! The Cheese Danish was absolutely scrumptious and the people that work there are very kind!

Jake’s Java is an absolute gem in Lanesborough, MA! We travel to the Berkshires multiple times a year, whether for family gatherings or just to unwind, and every visit feels like coming home. This past trip, my husband and I needed a quiet weekend, and we happened to stay at an Airbnb just down the road from Jake’s Java. After stopping in on day one, we ended up making it our go-to spot for the next four days.
From the coffee to the pastries and sandwiches, everything was delicious and hit the spot perfectly. But what really stood out was the outstanding customer service and the warm, welcoming atmosphere.
During our visits, we learned about the touching story behind the shop. We had heard about an Air Force pilot from the Berkshires who passed away last year, and as we read the story shared in the café, we realized this brave young man was Jake. On our last day, we connected, his incredible mom, was the one giving us cheer and smiles each day (plus team) who has managed to honor her son’s memory by running this cozy spot, greeting everyone with a smile and a warm cup of cheer.
Jake’s Java is more than just a café—it’s a place that embodies love, community, and resilience. If I were a local, I would be here every day.
P.S. Highly recommend their maple and pumpkin lattes! ❤️

Really like they open at 630am for us early birds. Also house made tea, hot or iced. You couldn't ask for a better morning experience from the staff to the food. All great quality food with good portion size and nice upbeat staff to start your day. They have outdoor seating as well which is always clean and well taken care of.

I visited on a brisk and sunny Sept. morning. I opted for the walk-up window as I detest drive-thru. I was promptly greeted by a bubbly employee and placed my order, large mocha and cinnamon chip scone. Wow! I've been around a bit and these were some of the finest examples I have ever tasted! A perfect start to a fine day on Mt. Greylock. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!
