The volunteers are so nice and helpful. There is only one older woman who is nasty and rude and swears at everyone. I'm not even sure if she really works there, but she shouldn't be allowed back inside the building.
Great service and food. They really go up and beyond even though some times they are short on helping hands.
Good food when you need a meal they do breakfast and dinner daily
Food and meals provided used to be good until after the corvid pandemic, same food everyday, portions are next to nothing, expired food, not worth my time anymore , quite sad they don't provide the healthy foods they use to have , I use to look forward to going to the corU num but now I'm looking for other places to have a decent healthy meal
Go monday morning for the best waffle in the city. This place is a true blessing.
wonderful caring people
One never goes hungry unless it's there own fault clearly a blessing to those in need
It has good days and other super bad days, it will be due to the character of its owner.
For a food pantry its excellent. For a hot meal juice and desert with a place like this no one goes hungry in poorer cities just wish they would open for indoor seatind instead of just brown bagGood job taking care of locals
This place serves free meals for anyone but mainly for the indigent. They serve breakfast and lunch. Not sure about dinner. I went for breakfast and it was great. As soon as you sit they fill your glass with OJ and bring coffee if you want. Then they bring your plate of food. You don't order like a restaurant (it's just whatever they are making that day. Always a hot meal) but they wait on you and then bring a pastry cart around. You can also have oatmeal, 3 or 4 different kinds of cereal and fruit. I think it's nice. They don't treat you like your poor etc. They treat you like you're at a regular restaurant. You don't have to be indigent to eat there. Anyone can go.

Treated extremely well by the volunteers. Very fortunate to have Core Unum Meal Center in the South Lawrence area.
Volunteered at Cor Unum with my church group three times in the past. Everyone treats the guests and volunteers with respectfully. The operation is smooth and efficient.
It a God sent for real. You just feel the love by all
