I went into grumpy with my friend to pee then we planned to get some food, when my friend and I walked to the bathroom there was no toilet paper so my friend went to get some and as we were walking to the bathroom one of the security guards told my friend “don’t throw toilet paper in the toilet” she looked at him and looked away. This man then decided to rush after us in the bathroom with 2 other security guards and man handle my friend simply for going in the bathroom with us doing nothing prior. They left a bruise on her and I hope they pull up the security cameras and show what happened because after I tried talking to one of the security guards he told me “I’m just doing my job” this is ridiculous the power these security guards get away with just for a power trip

I do not recommend this place, they play with your time, they tell you to sit down while the women who serve go to the kitchen to chatter and talk. Donkey pen and after 20 minutes they tell you wait 20 more don't play on your own time stop chattering

I ordered a seafood salad and a lemonade that was medium size and it was $31.00. When I opened my order to eat, I had 3 shrimps, a few small pieces of other seafood, literally a few pieces, tons of salad a few tomatoes and absolutely no dressing!!! I at the meal in less time than it took them to pack it from how small portion it was. Never mind that they gave me a spoon to eat it with. I am so disappointed because I could have had a meal that I could consider dinner with that amount of money! I do not recommend their seafood salad people! It’s a waste of money!
The truth must be said, the food is very good but the girl at the front at the checkout needs more education, there they do not know what customer service is and the average incompetent girl cannot sell the juices that are on the sign because she does not know do them, then why do you work if you don't do your job well?

ordered delivery from their own website (i have an account with them) and they cancelled my order, kept my money and refuse to refund me. the owner “grande” keeps avoiding me, and the useless workers there have no say and won’t do anything. they don’t even care! did not even offer to remake my order even when i showed them screenshots that THEY cancelled the order! i’ve been giving this place business for years, and they don’t understand that canceling someone’s order and not refunding them automatically is STEALING. i shouldn’t have to go hunt the owner down in hopes i get a refund. stay away, there are many other dominican spots in lawrence that won’t steal from you.
