I ordered the Thai Fried Rice from Kao after spotting all the glowing Google reviews praising it as amazing, and wow, they weren’t exaggerating! We were hosting a hot pot party that night and needed some solid, flavorful fried rice to round out the meal – something hearty to scoop up with all the broth and ingredients. It turned out to be really good – perfectly seasoned, fluffy jasmine rice with that authentic wok hei flavor, balanced veggies, and just the right amount of savoriness. The portions were generous too, which was perfect for sharing. What surprised me most was how it elevated our entire hot pot experience! The fried rice soaked up the rich broth beautifully and added a delicious contrast to the fresh dips and boils. Everyone at the party kept going back for more, and it tied everything together perfectly. Highly recommend Kao’s Thai Fried Rice if you’re looking for something reliable and tasty. Absolutely love this place. I shared the pad thai and curry both with their crispy chicken with my boyfriend and we were both blown away.
The food was so flavorful and you could tell they made every dish with utmost love and attention. The chicken melted in my mouth, the curry was perfectly sweet and spicy, and the noodles were cooked to perfection.
The atmosphere is splendid and two entrees and a drink was only $33.00!!! The owners were so kind and welcoming and they clearly care deeply about their family restaurant.
We will be back to try everything!!

SOOOOOOO GOOD. got the pad thai and the curry. was literally one of the best plates of food ive ever had. so excired to try the rest of the menu. its in a SUPER clean and neat cafeteria. 10/10 everything. Owners are super nice people too. price is really good as well.

As a Thai person, I really appreciate this fried rice. It's not oily, the rice is perfectly fluffy with separate grains (not mushy), and the vegetables are fresh and crisp exactly how Thai people like it.
The flavor is well-balanced and comforting, and the plating feels very Thai. This is truly authentic Thai fried rice, 100%. It's served with cucumber and lime, which makes it complete.
I understand that Chinese broccoli isn't available, so using broccoli instead totally makes sense and works well. The shrimp is not overcooked at all-perfect texture. I haven't tried other proteins yet, only shrimp, but it's honestly delicious.
I'd give it a 9.5 out of 10. The only thing missing is prik nam pla (Thai chili fish sauce). I highly recommended it. I'll come back definitely. Thank you for friendly service and made me feel so happy and satisfied. 😊
