Highlights: Excellent local Caribbean cuisine, classic Dominican dishes (fresh fish, tostones), fast service, and ideal for quick takeout or a casual bite in Santo Domingo.
Food knows no language barriers! The shrimp empanada was so selectively seasoned along with the vegetables that the flavor just seems impossibly perfect. The crust was layered, flaky and deep fried to gold. I'm a big fan of beet juice, I know weird but I love me. Their beet juice was fresh, the large is very large, with the right amount of ice.
The best pastelitos/empanadas in all of Lawrence! Fresh and the tastiest pastelito fillings. You can’t go wrong with the batidas and the natural juices. I recommend the arepa as well, so delicious. I’ve been coming here for over 11 years and it still tastes delicious and fresh!
