I was in town for training for work. stopped in after training and was pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere. very inviting staff and the locals were friendly from the start. if this tavern was local to me I'd be a regular customer. I highly recommend if your in Lawerance to stop by and see for yourself
Cute atmosphere and great bartenders and drinks! Come Wednesdays for music bingo… so fun!

Fonzi’s Tavern on Merrimack offers a festive atmosphere with karaoke, bands, dancing, and a karaoke DJ. The crowd is a good mix of older and young, and the place has good vibes. The staff is very inviting, and the locals are friendly. There are lots of TV’s with sporting events. The food is great, with a Reuben that is unbelievably good and chicken tenders and fries that are very good. There is a great selection of beers. The tavern is very clean inside. It can get packed when the college kids are back for the semester. The owner caters awesome group dinners. This is a pleasant surprise and a fun experience. Highly recommend.
