Bad experience. My friend and I went there today and both of our tacos were extremely dry. We said something to an employee but weren’t offered to get anything different or a refund. My friend got really sick after eating, the food does not settle well at all. 0/10 don’t recommend!

This cozy little spot on a side road in Lee was once a favorite Vietnamese restaurant of ours, which closed several years ago. Avocado Cafe opened during the pandemic and we just discovered it. The ambience is very nice and our server was friendly. The food is legit Mexican. I had the chicken enchiladas, which comes in a red or green sauce. I asked the server which he recommended. He said, “The red is spicy and the green is mild.” I went for the green and it was nicely spicy. Dishes come with Spanish rice and well seasoned black beans. My wife had a beef quesadilla, which was also delicious. She had a very good margarita and I had a beer. We'll come back and they also deliver. A nice find.

Terrible Stale Food, Horrible service from owner and workers. They Up charged food when you get there, even though both paper and online menu are “cheaper”. Also hidden surcharges for using a credit card? The food tasted awfully expired/spoiled. Whole experience was terrible, it’s disturbing thinking about how many people they do this to on a daily basis.

I like this place, the fajitas are consistently good. I've also had the Carne Asada which I didn't enjoy as much. It's a small place with only two 4 tops and maybe six tables for 2. Service is fine, but they do a brisk take out business, so it can take awhile to get someone's attention.

You would never think this would be good authentic Mexican food, but once you get inside you will find it is! Outside just a plain building on a side street in Lee, but inside comfortable bright and not too big. Service was wonderful, and food was great. Mole was authentic, chocolate and spicy. Fajita was great, seasoned to perfection. You wont be disappointed, the real deal
