This was fun! An old-style American diner with an interesting history. Norman Rockwell's 'The Runaway' was inspired by the diner and a copy hangs behind the counter. The food was unfussy and tasty.
We stopped for lunch and the food and service was great! Very friendly staff and more-than-reasonably-priced, delicious meals. Swedish meatballs on noodles was excellent and chicken salad sandwich was perfect. We will definitely return!
I haven't even had my breakfast yet and I love the place! Our server even told me that their corned beef hash was from a can sobI ordered the BLT omelet with avocado and bacon.
