Historically I considered Alta a go-to when visiting our summer home in the Berkshires. The interaction I had with staff last night tainted this perception. I've been coming here for years, and notice each year that the tap water has the STRONGEST chlorine smell. So order bottle water? Yes, last night I did. However, I'm also eating vegetables washed in that chlor water, and the soups are made with that same water, too. The brocolli soup had some after taste, and I wonder if that is the reason why?
