It was so nice to see Alex at the bar yesterday evening. He makes the best Cosmos! If you haven’t tried one yet, order one when he’s there.

We had the most wonderful meal at Bistro Zinc in Lenox, MA. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed — including our service animals — which meant a lot. The service was exceptional: attentive, kind, and genuinely thoughtful.

The food was absolutely incredible. The salmon burger was outrageous, and the crispy goat cheese salad was delicious — perfectly done. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.

We were truly greeted with that special Berkshire kindness. Bistro Zinc is a place I’ll absolutely return to — a standout gem in the area.

I've been at Zinc several times before. This time I ordered fish and chips. Got 2 tiny strips of fish. This was ridiculous. And a lot of overcooked fries, much worse than at Burger King. See photo. $26+20% tip=$31.20+tax. This would amount to $16+ per fish strip. Chips were inedible. I left hungry and upset.
Server wasn't at all surpised that I left the chips untouched, she obviously knew that chips were terrible. I find this whole experience very disrespectful and offensive. This is the last time I come to this place and would now advise people to stay away!!! Outrageous.

Excellent food. Perfect service. My favorite dish was an appetizer of tuna tartar.

We had a very negative experience with the attitude of the staff. My friend arrived early for our reservations. It's a long story, but the way he was treated in such a condescending way with disrespect was inexcusable. We decided to leave. Luckily, we ended up going to Gateways Inn for dinner. I know many people rave about Bistro Zinc, but we'll never eat there again. Thank you, Kevin

Bistro Zinc is a charming spot in Lenox with a nice atmosphere. They start you off with warm bread and butter, which is a nice touch. We ordered the crispy goat cheese salad which included peaches, blueberries, and a nice lemon and honey vinaigrette. Main was beef bourguignon that included mashed potatoes. The salad was fresh, and the goat cheese was perfectly crispy, beef bourguignon was flavorful, though slightly on the salty side, mashed potatoes were a nice touch. Overall, it was a lovely meal with attentive service. I would return.

I have lived in the Berkshires for over 30 years and have enjoyed many a good meal at Zinc, however, last weekend when a friend and I walked in just for drinks we were greeted with such coolness. The server slapped the menus on the bar and said she was in a meeting and would be back.It was around 4;45 so I understad that is early but they said they were open for drinks.I was the one to smile and say hello. We got up and left.Years ago our adult daughter and her friends were treated so poorly;made to wait an hour even though they had reservations, were then rushed to leave. Another friend years ago was told to leave right before New Years eve because the table was reserved. They were not provided with a complimentary glass, nor escorted to the bar.Simply told to leave after spendings hundreds of dollars there. So Bisto Zinc, its a small year round community here from November to April. As I have had to point out to Guidos best not to estrange your bread and butter through the dark, cold months. I will never go again and have told numerous people of my experience.

Overpriced and overrated.
The duck was OK. The flounder was almost burnt. The other fish was nothing special. Dumplings were undercooked. The onion soup had a ridiculous slab of molten cheese on it that was literally all over the dish inside out.
