Sorry folks, the food didn't WOW me. Cocktails were very nice. Portions are huge. But big doesn't mean great food. Lots of pasta options..Italian restaurant of course..but nothing stood out. The Calamari was just OK. I'm a Rhode Islander and "Federal Hill" does Calamari. The sauce was from a bottle or so it appeared. First time going to Frankie’s Ristoranti and we loved it! The atmosphere was very cozy and welcoming. The food especially was delicious. It’s hard finding a restaurant that takes pride in the ingredients that go into their meals. Frankie’s definitely delivery’s on great quality.
My wife is Italian on both sides, and her mother & grandmothers (both from Italy) were outstanding Italian cooks (as is my wife!). We met a friend for dinner at Frankie's this past Friday (our first visit) and couldn't have been more pleased!
