Horrible customer service!
Although the food was very good, this restaurant was a bit expensive, though for the quality is worth the price. My biggest complaint is the set-up, you order at the counter and then sit at a table...I always have a bad experience with restaurants with this set up, people are walking every which way, no organization, the coffee/cream was on the opposite end of the restaurant, and you tip before being served so you have to hope you have a good server...Good food, bad lay-out in my opinion.
Wish we lived here so we could visit more often. We ordered the cinnamon vanilla latte, mocha latte, breakfast burrito w/ bacon, pancake, and breakfast biscuit. Everything was delicious and the servers were kind and friendly. I love that the dishes come with arugula.
Oh my! What a wonderful bakery/coffee shop/ restaurant. Outstanding customer service. Food was delicious. So many gluten free and vegan options. Soups. Sandwiches. Salads. Cookies. Brownies. Cupcakes. Etc…
Nice area to dine inside and a cute patio with umbrellas to sit outside. Highly recommend.
We were out for a stroll and decided to stop in for a coffee. Upon seeing the bakery, we were delighted: the place is very cozy and the staff incredibly friendly. Reading the menu makes you want to try everything, as the flavors are truly delicious and everything is made artisanally.
We couldn’t resist trying a delicious burger, an apple tart, and an exquisite blueberry muffin. Without a doubt, if I come back to this area, I will return to enjoy this wonderful café.
My family and I stayed in Massachusetts for about a week and decided to visit all the towns around the Berkshires. We came to Haven for breakfast almost every single day as we were staying nearby. The breakfast was so tempting and so delicious we had to keep going back. It got so bad we went at opening time to make sure we could get our orders in fast. I’ve rarely tasted vegetables and food from restaurants that doesn’t hit your stomach like a rock. The food was so delicious and so fresh. The eggs, the coffee, every single thing on the menu. The service was outstanding and everyone was so kind to us. It’s very clean and the staff are so personable. We hope to go back when we visit Massachusetts again.
This is a must if you are in the Berkshires area. The food was so fresh and such high quality. We were genuinely surprised at how good it was. We wanted something substantial without all the heaviness that typical diners/breakfast places tend to have. I got the avocado toast & iced tea and my boyfriend got the Santa Fe omelet & mocha latte (which was a delicious combination of hot chocolate and espresso). We also got the coffee cake and a sticky bun. There was no wait and we got our food extremely quickly, despite it being a weekend morning.
Haven has been our go-to spot for brunch and lunch for over five years, and it has never disappointed. From the moment you walk in, they have delicious seasonal specials and a wide assortment of delectable baked goods from lemon cake slices, special turtle bars, chocolate squares, carrot cake, to ginger molasses cookies, among many others. This place has become a true favorite for good reason—the food is always fresh, with an emphasis on local ingredients that shine in every dish.
The menu is a beautiful balance of comfort and creativity, with seasonal offerings that highlight the best of what’s available. Whether you're enjoying their signature smoked salmon eggs benedict, a grilled pesto mozzarella chicken sandwich, a hearty soup, or a fresh salad, the quality of the ingredients is always top-notch. The savory baked goods are also such a treat, including their ham and gruyere biscuits. Pair them with one of their aromatic lattes (our favorite is the earl grey vanilla or jasmine maple latte) or creative seasonal drinks, and you’ve got yourself a perfect meal.
What really sets Haven apart, though, is the friendly atmosphere. The staff has always been warm and welcoming. It's clear that many regulars feel the same way, as it’s often very busy from the moment they open until they close. It’s a place that’s equally perfect for catching up with friends and family or enjoying a peaceful solo meal.
Haven even offers holiday meals, including Thanksgiving and Christmas specials. This Thanksgiving, we were far away from other family members and due to a busy work schedule, we tried their Thanksgiving dinner and it was great!
Despite being a local favorite and always busy, the service is consistently excellent, and I never feel rushed or overlooked. It’s no surprise this place has remained a beloved staple for so many years. If you're looking for a spot that combines amazing food, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere, Haven is a must-visit!

AMAZING pastries and baked goods here. The gingerbread blondie was insanely good and came highly recommended. I also loved the oatmeal chocolate chip cookie and their “dirt bombs” which were essentially these small cinnamon donut-like things. I saw some tasty breakfast items that people were ordering sitting down so don’t miss out!

After having lunch in Lee, MA, we drove over to Lenox Massachusetts. What a beautiful western Massachusetts town. While there we went to this coffee shop. My wife had tea and I coffee which were very good. In addition we shared a piece of carrot cake which was truly outstanding. This quaint little coffee shop fits his area very nicely.

I was home in Lenox, where I live and came to have a breakfast/brunch with my family where my sister was grossly verbally abused by staff.

Delicious experience. The best omelet I have ever had. The croissant French toast was also fantastic. Wish this place was in my regular dining out rotation. A reason to drive to the Bershires for a mini break.

Both the food and coffee drinks were interesting and excellent. The tables were tight-- it felt cramped to me, but worth it for the food.

I am a local who went to Haven frequently and was there Saturday with my friend. We got there at 9:15 and at 10:30 the woman who puts the numbers on the tables approached us and told us we were there long enough and she needed our table. There were three empty tables and the line was truly not a long line. She said if we bought something else we could stay. We hadn’t even finished our coffee. Needless to say we will never return there and you can bet that the rest of my friends and family will be told about this also. Too bad Haven. You don’t treat people like that.
