Ordered take out of course since they closed the dining room.an order of 007 dinner/garlic chicken/4 egg rolls was 72.00 including tip.upon returning home I could not believe how bad the food was.everything was different and not in a good way.my wife and I have frequently been here over the years and find out the next day they close for good March 30.Do Not spend your hard earned money at this dump.

The quality of food has diminished along with the portion size. We ordered three dinner combos and all 3 had a small ice cream scoop of fried rice. For the price we should be able to get a good portion of probably the cheapest food item there is. They have always been my favorite but I am not sure what happened. I hope things go back to normal portions and quality. ?

I have enjoyed dining at the Lua Hale for over 30 years and I have never had a bad experience. The food is always great and the staff is very friendly. Its a win win!

Ordered chow mein, pick up. —when I got home only had vegetable and noodles but no rice. When I called inquiring about the rice, the girl said that you have to askfor it — otherwise you only get the noodles.. noodles usually over the rice and vegetables as topping. Appears they are cutting corners too and screwing over the customers ….Stupid me and I left them a tip too ?? Looks like it’s going to be lasted tip for me ..

I worked at the Luau Hale close to 40 years ago. The food was as great as I remember. I visited the Berkshires from August 1st to the 3rd. Had much fun.

Way better then their closest competition. Amounts vs prices are definitely a better deal. They have all the traditional foods you're looking for from a Chinese restaurant and it's good. Staff is very kind and helpful. My only complaint is that no Chinese restaurant in the mideast makes plain cream cheese wong tongs. I miss them.

We ordered take out as they are only doing curbside. Tried to order a beverage. Was told the only beverages they had were alcoholic. Next we asked for extra lemon with our scallop dish. It was like pulling teeth. They stated they might not be able to give us extra. I said if you have to charge us that’s fine. We had to drop our car off at mechanic so we ran down did that and came back and it was ready on time… yay…. We drive to the gas station to get drinks. When I got back to the car my girlfriend said they didn’t give us plastic utensils or napkins. Which the gas station didn’t have either. She started with the fries. Blah plus no ketchup. When she got to the salad she just tossed it it looked very blah. So her main dish maybe it was worth it. But further let down . The scallops looked blah, and tasted blah.My dish was there house lo mien. It was bland as could be. Very few noodles mostly liquid and veggies and meat . I would of been fine with that as long as it tasted good but sadly, especially for the cost definitely not worth it. Golden phoenix would of had more flavor. We used to go there all the time when I was growing up. It was a nice atmosphere and exciting to order the PuPu platter… sadly the experience left a poor taste in my mouth. ?

No dine-in have to call on the phone to order pick up. Shame always enjoyed eating there.

I have eaten at the restaurant many times. It is the best Polynesian restaurant in Berkshire County. Edmund the bartender is a professional. The review ask when was I there. I picked a date to satisfy the review but I have been there over nd over.

Incorrect info on this site. No dine in. Only open 4 to 9 for curbside or delivery. I used to love this place!

several years ago we ate here after patronizing a wonderful kitchen goods store across the street (Different Drummer). Disappointed, ordinary even the atmosphere, we thought would be kitschy was just plain tired. As was the food. Once was enough.

LOVE Luau Hale! THE best. I’ve tried options closer to home, but no one else compares. Well worth the drive!
