This is a quintessential New England tavern experience. From the wide plank floors, to the wood bar, the cheerful conversations from patrons, and of course, the pub food. We each had burgers (his beef, mine turkey). They were both juicy, flavorful, hot, lightly toasted bun, and prepared exactly as ordered. The sweet potato fries were lightly crispy as were my regular fries. My fries still had some of the potato skins on which just adds to the flavor. I also ordered a hot chocolate...
The food was delicious, and the service was warm and attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff were genuinely friendly. After dinner, we sat at the bar and had a great time with the karaoke—everything felt lively and seamless, thanks to the friendly crowd and staff.
Nice place. Cute. We got some clam chowder ...it was a little thick which is OK by me, but skimpy on the clams imo. My wife didn't like it, but she's really hard to please (with some things....)
