Craft Food Halls - Revolution Hall

What an amazing restaurant to hang out with colleagues and friends after a long day at work. The combination of inside and outdoor spaces make this a fantastic place to come with a large crowd. Located in one of the office parks in Lexington, Massachusetts, there is never any shortage of parking.

Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs at all.

We just ordered lunch here for take out and tried the smash burger and fried chicken sandwich. Unfortunately, both were disappointing—the chicken was tough and dry, and the burger was also on the dry side. That said, the atmosphere was nice, and the space was very clean. Given the many positive reviews, it’s possible we just ordered the wrong items, but based on this experience, I wouldn’t personally recommend these options.

Update: the manager reached out almost immediately and asked for additional feedback and comped our meal. we’re very appreciative of this and will give it another try in the future.

I threw a surprise birthday party for my wife at Revolution Hall, and Vinny and the team were super helpful and easy to work with - there was even a near-disaster when my wife got strep throat three days before the original party date, and Rev Hall rescheduled the whole thing to three weeks later with no questions asked, and it all went off without a hitch (we even preserved the surprise!). The food was great and so was the service, everyone was pleased - would recommend!

We ordered 2 pizzas and they were both missing the basil. I double checked the food description and it did include basil. Taste was not bad but still.. was not happy. See pic. It looks so incomplete.

I ordered the cilantro shrimp tacos, and each one had exactly 1 shrimp and way, way too much aoli. I can't figure out whether they were running out of shrimp and shouldn't have served it or whether that's the actual dish and they shouldn't have put it on the menu in the first place. Good beer though.

Went in for dinner with friends and noticed there wasn’t any soap in the women’s bathroom. So I went to the bartender and reported that the bathroom needed soap. In turn, she says “well, that means both bathrooms (men and women) don’t have soap now.”

So I said, there’s no soap at all in this establishment that can be put out for folks in the bathroom? What happens when employees need to go to the bathroom? Are they just going to rinse their hands with water and then go back to work?

No answer.

Long story short, that will be the last time I visit this establishment.

Pour your own beer is such a nice offer here. I’m a big fan of trying lots of things so it was nice to be able to pour myself a couple ounces of a beer I wanted to try but not drink a whole serving of. Like most breweries, there were a lot of children here that took over all the games (not actually playing them) so that was disappointing but not unexpected. Overall, we enjoyed our drinks and pretzels

Hosted my staff holiday party here. Staff was very friendly and helpful with both the planning & menu selection, and also at the actual event. We had the private lounge area reserved, which was perfect way to have your own space and mingle with your group. Love the drink card kiosk thing - huge hit with my team!

Visited on a Sunday afternoon, 6 of us. Not very busy, easy to find a table to sit at. One person working in and out of the main bar area.
Beer - 3-4 taps were empty (or emptied when trying to pour it). Telling the person at the bar, he said they would not be changed until the next day (Monday). Though, no one put a sign to note what was empty. I ended up getting a few very bad pours that I still charged to my card. I like the idea of the varied selection, but as others have said, it is very expensive and is annoying when you get a bad pour.
Food - we ordered food for all 6 of us. The pretzel bites and wings were excellent. The burgers were OK and a turkey sandwich was horrible (bread toasted to point of falling apart when biting and then just being left with stacks of sliced turkey to eat).
Was able to pay some shuffleboard which was nice.
Had difficulty getting credit card back we had left to get shuffleboard kit as person kept saying they don't hold credit cards (but wife didn't have license on her to get shuffleboard kit, so used credit card...had to find another employee who understood the situation to get our card back).
Solid 2.5 out of 5, but rounding up.

The food was great but Jesus the price for the drinks and beer are ridiculously high. I'm all about good craft drinks but too rich for my blood.

Fantastic spot! We hosted my son’s first birthday here today and it was a great event. The guests raved about the food (the steak crostini was a favorite), we had a private area but also were able to move about the whole venue, the staff was helpful and attentive. I definitely would recommend here for an event or just a fun day out.
