4/21/24Terrible experience tonight!3 of us coworkers decided to go to this restaurant after a long day of work. This was a night to celebrate our Manager’s vacation take off! She loves sushi so much and we were excited to dine here! What was our experience? We waited almost an hour to get our entree’s. We realized two of the orders were incorrect! The portions are very small for such prices. We called the hostess over to explain the issues all she did was laugh! Judy the owner / chef yelled at us talking very loudly and not taking responsibility for the way the dishes were made! We stated that certain seafood was missing in 2 of the orders. After 10 minutes of all 3 of us being reprimanded. We finally said enough! We got charged 120.00 all they did was give 12.00 discount which was outrageous! One of the meals was just a bowl of rice and hardly any seafood! We will never ever go here again. The plating was not cute we felt for such high prices for seafood dishes that seafood would be included in the dishes themselves. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone! With so many options in Massachusetts research before choosing this place!!!! Judy and the hostess are not very good at servicing the public what a shame honestly!

My coworkers and I decided to have dinner on a busy Sunday night. The wait was over forty minutes long to be served our entrees. At the end of the meal we told the hostess that our entrees were extremely underwhelming. The chef/owner came out to our table to correct us and say that we were that ones at fault and took zero accountability. Then she proceeded to argue with us in front of all the guests. Overall, the customers service was appalling. Everyone in the restaurant was uncomfortable including the rest of the guests. I have dined here before and never had a problem with the food or staff until now. The Hostess and Chef did not act professionally in front of the guests. They were not apologetic or accommodating at all. I used to consider this restaurant elevated and higher end than most sushi spots. But now the quality of the food and customer service is extremely poor considering the prices they charge.

We’ve been regulars here for a long time but service has gotten quite slow. They have a lot of staff not hustling. Food is well-prepared and fresh if you go off hours.

Nothing wrong with the service or atmosphere. However, the portion sizes were incredibly small for the price. Definitely not coming

Surprised we haven't been coming for years. It is so good that we are now almost once a week visitors. Appetizers are uniformly delicious. The sushi is well prepared and delicious. Noodles get good reviews by my family. Service is attractive but discrete. We recommend this place without reservations.

Ordered takeout last Friday, so granted a busy night. But the pan fried gyoza was burnt beyond recognition and was absolutely inedible. The sushi was fine, but wouldn't trust this kitchen again.

Food was very good, but it was too pricey for what we got. Atmosphere was nice, service was fine, and food was very tasty. The menu is good, comprehensive. Best item we got was the blistered edamame. So good we found a recipe so we can make it at home. The other food, the udon soup, the shrimp dish, the sushi, it was all fine. Nothing really wrong with anything but for the prices it should have been fabulous and it just wasn't. The portions were really small. You can see in the pictures.

Daikanyama platter for 2 as a starter with a group to share. Everything else.

Highly variable -- a good meal one day, a bad one another day. We have eaten there perhaps five times over the past year, because it is convenient. On some previous occasions, we have had good sushi and so-so sushi, and some cooked appetizers that were fine. A respectable suburban approximation of Japanese food. But my most recent meal was close to terrible: nigiri with ok though not outstanding tasty fish on top of the driest rice imaginable, including a disgraceful piece of cold, dry and tasteless eel nigiri. All this at prices that are far from cheap. If the food were more reliable, this could be a nice local restaurant, but it is so inconsistent. The decor is very pleasant and the service has always been friendly and efficient, no complaints there. But there is a very weird menu structure: a regular printed menu supplemented by a small ipad-like tablet that shows more than 50 "specials" with photos (some in portrait mode, some in landscape), with no prices listed for any of them. No idea why they do that, very odd.

We came on a Thursday night and made a reservation ahead of time for 8 people and they sat us in a little secluded area which was nice for ambiance and noise level. The lady was super nice and pretty quick with service compared to how busy it was. She gave us plenty of time to order drinks, look at the menu and converse before rushing us to order. Our food came out timely. We ordered a bunch of the specialty rolls and my favorite were the sunset and daikanyama rolls. We stayed till closing and they didn't really rush us out of the restaurant which I thought was pretty nice of them. Overall, a great experience with a great server.

I used to love this place for the food quality. Well not anymore. All the dishes look good in the pictures but came with lot off fillers. It’s a shame. I am very disappointed because this restaurant is in my town and I can’t no longer stop by for sushi

Food & Service is excellent. Atmosphere is okay. But value is lacking; a $28 Chirasi had merely 5 small pieces of sashimi, a couple crab/cucumber pieces and some salmon roe. Frankly, I felt like I paid a lot for a fancy bowl of rice.
