Made 2 visits so far. Both ended with misunderstanding, and the owner sold different items than what I anticipated.
The first time, I specifically asked for a kids' meal and smaller portion. He said a grill cheese menu. It turned out to be a full dinner size grilled cheese, and it was twice more expensive than I expected. Upon complaining. He said, "Look, this is a dinner size, and it is an appropriate price for that. Did not mention my initial request for a kids' meal.
The second time was today, I was hoping to get a chicken sandwich. And I asked what is in chicken stir fry sandwich and he said it is teriyaki chicken with vegetables and salad and I said I will take it. When I got the food, it was a teriyaki chicken dinner plate. I told him that i ordered chicken sandwich. He said he took all that busy time to prepare the food and trying to work it out (meaning he is asking me to take the food TBH)
Then, he said pay full price for the rice dinner plate (which i didn't want and was 6 dollars more expensive than what i initially was going to order) and he can turn the meat into sandwich if I pay additional 2 dollars for the bread. Well, I didn't want to argue, so i took the food and paid for the full price of dinner plate with additional food that I probably won't eat.
Bottom line, food itselfi think is on a good side(chicken on a dryer side though), but I've been here only twice, and both ended with misunderstanding and got menu I didn't want.
In other restaurants, when the owner misunderstood the customer, they were willing to rectify. This owner is different. He is just interested in his own money and cares only the effort that he took in rather than customers' needs.
He sold more expensive food/bigger portion food than I initially requested. I can only see it as a tactic to sell more expensive items.

I was excited to try this place for the first time, but the poor customer service ruined the experience.
I called ahead to order, and when I arrived, I waited at the register. One employee saw me but ignored me, calling another customer over instead. No greeting, no “I’ll be right with you”—nothing. After checking out that customer, they brought food for someone else and still ignored me.
I stood there, waiting to be acknowledged, but no one said a word. Frustrated, I walked out. Great reviews can’t make up for such bad service—I won’t be back.

Chicken salad sandwich was delicious. If I lived in this area, this would be my favorite place.

Cute little takeout spot with great food, friendly owners, and a wide selection. Both the premade food and fresh takeout are very much with the cost, my go to picks are a steak and cheese or the lamb

Worst attempt at an Italian sub ever. I shouda got a prize for finding the meat...less than 1 oz of cold cuts. Both me and my son got a 1/4 of a pickle spear in our baskets...1 inch...they cut up the spears..very strange. Then got robbed when I paid for it. $12 + $11 + smallest bag of chips (1oz) and a cheap soda, so the chips and the soda were $5. I'll never be back. Bit of advice...make the money but don't let the money make you. In other words don't be cheap.

I truly love the food here at Jackson's Kitchen. I have more than one favorite here. Chicken salad club, the burger, Lamb Tips, and the seasonal pasta salad. The food is so fresh and made to order. The vibe is so cool here. Always some good music playing while you wait. They have a customer wall with pics of their frequent customers. The owner and staff are very engaging and make you feel so welcome. They also usually have a trivia question to answer while you wait. You gotta try this place.

This is a practically weekly go-to in our family for good quality, comfort food. Some of our must-haves are the meatballs, the salmon grilled dinners, and the Italian or Steak Bomb subs but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu...we haven't yet!

This was my second time here,
Very welcoming and inviting hands down best chicken for a Caesar salad I’ve ever had In my life, point being that, if they can make a simple salad as well of an experience as it was, I’m sure they can do anything. This place was so tasty 10 out of 1000 out of 1000 I’m going back for sure! Nice job! Very delicious!
