Some of the best sushi I've ever had. Little pricey but you get what you pay for!! Felt a bit rushed by the wait staff eventhough it wasn't very busy. Hope to be back sometime.

We recently dined at Taka and while the experience didn’t quite meet our expectations, we appreciated several aspects of the visit. Our party of 13 was accommodated on short notice, and we were seated within 10 mins. The staff was exceptionally kind, efficient, and attentive throughout. While the food and overall experience were just average for us as a group, we were grateful for the warm and accommodating service.

The food was subpar, we ordered the crab rangoons which were mostly filled with cream cheese only, scallion pancakes, and shrimp pad thai -when asked if we would like it mild or spicy we expressed we love hot food and would love for it to be extra spicy….. disappointing that it was incredibly sweet with no spice when it came out. We sat at the bar, no one checked in to see how the food was, we had empty glasses and no offer for a refill. Shortly after we sat there was a crowd of people standing around the bar who were incredibly loud and intoxicated. We chose not to both to have conversation because we would have to yell to eachother just to hear what we were saying. The atmosphere was terrible. The bartending must have been friends with the crowd that came in due to only focusing on them and even taking a shot with them. We will not be back to this establishment it was incredibly disappointing all around.

Was there for grandchildren birthday. Everything was really good. I have to have gluten free so my meal came from the kitchen. It was very good. Chef on the hibachi was a lot of fun, enjoyed here very much

I am beyond disappointed with my recent experience at Taka. I found a lump of hair in my food—not just a single strand, but an actual lump. It was absolutely disgusting and completely ruined my meal.
This is especially upsetting because I used to love coming here, but after this experience, I will never return. I will also be reporting this incident to the Massachusetts Department of Inspection Services.
I strongly advise others to think twice before dining here.

They had dropped off with their sashimi quality for a short time so I stopped going, but recently returned and I am pleased to say there seemed to be a different crew and the Sashimi deluxe was top quality. They could expand their Saki options but have a couple good ones on hand.

The food was decent. I ordered the Thai red curry, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. It was more like a stir-fry than the soupy consistency I expected from a red curry. The brown rice served alongside was also undercooked, which affected the overall experience. Overall, it was a mediocre meal. You can take a look at the food picture to see what I mean.

Enni was our waitress, she was on the ball. Fast service, friendly. The food was so good, next time ,will sit in the Hibachi side & watch the chefs at work! Good prices for great food.
